Ketrivie It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

selffamily I really enjoyed this when NZ TV decided to show it. I don't know how many episodes there were, but the humour was quick and with young children it was something we could enjoy together. I hope that it is released on DVD because my mottled old VHS copy is not really working that well! Billy Connolly seemed to be playing himself and the others were around him. The kids were really good and I'm surprised that the mother has not appeared on our screens since then - maybe she has in the US but not here, to my knowledge. the story lines were simple but not lame and it was highly enjoyable. I understand that the time slots in the USA were not kind to it.
