It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

The plot: a family man is accused of killing a prostitute and all evidence points to him - but his wife believes he's innocent and starts to investigate. This is a mildly boring and never thrilling German TV film where the heroine stumbles to clichés from past similar films. The husband's innocence is never in doubt to the viewers and the real killer's identity was way too easy to guess. I was actually hoping for it to be a red herring and the killer to be the husband or someone else, but no. The actors do their job but it's all clinical work you'll see in most TV movies which evokes no emotion from the viewers.
