Kidskycom It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
judddaryl86 I recently saw Jason W. Schaver's new film Wingmen Incorporated at a film festival and decided to check out some of his earlier work. And I must say that this is a pretty damn good debut. I really admire how the filmmakers weren't afraid of the "mentally challenged" theme. And if you watch the film you can see that they aren't making fun of mentally challenged people. They are making fun of the lengths guys will go to win the heart of a girl they feel is out of their league. The sound is okay, the picture is okay. If you don't ignore the budget or the lack of experience, it's a below average film. But if you can just focus on the writing, the acting, and the story, this film has a lot of heart and is very entertaining. Not everyone has access to huge budgets, stars, and professional editors (the editing in this is cringe worthy at times). The lead is likable. Schaver steals pretty much every scene he is in. How is this guy not famous yet? That hammer stuff was gold! Erica Walter is great as the hot chick. Very pretty, solid actress. I see some of the reviews here where people are saying she's not pretty. These people WISH they could get someone as attractive as her! These guys are certainly on my radar! If Hollywood ever wakes up, these guys should be given huge budgets and would make millions!
drklabs I watched this movie because of the comments on IMDb but hmmm... i understand the effort from the actors , i understand the low budget , but the thing with the retarded people is insulting, so the whole movie takes advantage of how retarded people looking funny and makes them to look like clowns in the circus , i loughed with one or 2 scenes but thats all very insulting i think. In my opinion maybe i am wrong on this its not a nice thing to make fun with retarded people. The plot is something we have seen on every movie out there so the conclusion is i give it a 3 because of the absence of everything that makes a movie watchable.Maybe those actors under other circumstances could have made more effort and got the applause's but here no.In my life i have learned how to respect the other people with special needs and to live with and making fun not fun of them.
Chris I don't know where all this reviews come from, just watched this movie and must say: One of the worst movies ever!Don't get me wrong, its a nice movie, and the actors really try and Erika Walter is gorgeous, but the script, the lighting, the colors, the choreography, cutting, dramaturgy, casting, production design, closing credits, even the graphic design for the film poster, everything seems more like a high school project. If i would not have read all the positive reviews and was curious what might happen to get them, i would have stopped watching the move after 20min...But: Nice Idea, and with some tweaking the script could become a nice one for a good movie...Maybe this movie is genius and i simply don't get it, but until this is proved i have to stick to the above written! No hard feelings, i love you guys!
james00769 This movie starts out slow, but the comedy quickly picks up about 10 minutes into the movie. At first I thought this movie was going to be about making fun of people with disabilities, but it wasn't like that at all. Sure there were some parts that may offend some people, but I feel like you could say that about any great comedy. This movie reminds me a lot of the Judd Appatow movies, but with Farrelly brother's moments mixed in.The low budget is noticeable, but never takes away from the film at all. You can notice it in some underlit scenes and muffled sound, but the acting in the movie is solid across the board. If you are looking for a good laugh, then this movie has to be on your list.
