Reviews
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Celia A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Roy Daroyni Too simple plot that is told very slowly. One of the most boring movie I have ever watched
Kirpianuscus Good intentions. and a reasonable result. admirable job from Rosamunde Pike and Jason Clarke. and something missing. petr-varak review defines the basic problem - HHhH is a movie containing more two films more than two parts. the biography of Heydrich remains a sketch , correct but superficial, reminding a resume. and the second part seems be remind of ~Antropoid~, not a bad fact, useful to remind the events from Prague of 1943. but , having the same pieces and the same story and tools , it is difficult to ignore the similitudes, more inspired presented in the first film. remembering a docu-drama, it has the gift to be good start point for discover the life and the work of Reinhard Heydrich.

So we were forced to play our part in this diabolic scenario after the war. In no way we could have pointed out to our people that the war only was an economic preventive measure." -- US foreign minister James Baker (1992)
kiffiam For a start, I was expecting a sweet WWII movie, about the backgrounds, how Heydrich was solving problems. I hoped, that i will see some facts and some fantasies to be mashed up. Instead I got something boring. No better word. The film starts with introducing Heydrich in montages, and gives us some scenes about Heydrich's problems. But what are these problems' influences on the Obergruppenführer, we won't know that. Basically the first half is a montage, made out of montages. Then the focus moves to two rebels, who are planned to murder Heydrich. This part was more interesting, actually you want them to be successful. I was confused, that isn't this a movie about one officer? Appareantly, no, it's not. But this part was spoiled too. It's so heroic, that it just doesn't with the whole movie. And about the movie's quality: oh my god. I don't know if the cameraman had a shaking hand, or scenes are intentionally trembling, either way it looks awful. Top on this, the edit made it worse, so much stabilizing was added, it is visible with lots of ghost pictures...To summarize: my best entertainment was to recognize the Hungarian shooting sites.
