The Lincoln Lawyer Trailers

Mick Haller is a charismatic defense attorney who does business out of his Lincoln Continental sedan. Mick spends most of his time defending petty crooks and other bottom-feeders, so it comes as quite a surprise when he lands the case of a lifetime: defending a Beverly Hills playboy who is accused of attempted murder. However, what Mick initially thinks is an open-and-shut case with a big monetary reward develops into something more sinister.

Reviews
Tetrady not as good as all the hype
Skunkyrate Gripping story with well-crafted characters
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
leethomas-11621 SPOILER ALERT Maybe my legal sense is poor but why can't Haller drop Roulet as a client after he visits Martinez in San Quentin and realises he's been set up? I staggered through until the demise of William Macy's character and then had no real reason to watch this one out. Plot too forced and ultimately unconvincing. (viewed 11/16)
andrewlmyers ....That my girlfriend threw her glass of wine straight into her own eyes!
lavatch The title "The Lincoln Lawyer" derives from the Lincoln Continental in which the slick attorney Mickey Haller conducts his business in defending sleazy clients. Appropriately, the license plate of the vehicle is NTGUILTY.But attorney Haller finds himself in an unusual situation when it turns out that his current client is actually guilty of multiple crimes including murder. Moreover, Haller has been specially selected by the psycho Louis Rolet, who has killed a victim in the past that resulted in the false conviction of one of Haller's clients. The twisted mind of Rolet places Haller in the position mounting Rollet's defense or violate the client-attorney privilege.Matthew McConaughey is good as the smooth-talking and hard-drinking attorney. And Ryan Phillpipe is passable as the snot-nosed psychopath from Beverly Hills. There are some plot twists and decent location filming in Los Angeles. One of the strengths of the film is in the secondary characters that include the efficient secretary, the ex-wife, the chauffeur, the private eye, the sleazy district attorney, the snitch, the hard-nosed detective, and a lovable chorus of bikers as clients of Haller. Overall, this was a well-plotted suspense film that moved at a brisk pace. The best part of the film was the development of Haller's character, who, despite his personal shortcomings, feels remorse for the false conviction of a former client and strives to serve the greater cause of justice.
adonis98-743-186503 Mick Haller is a defense lawyer who works out of his Lincoln. When a wealthy Realtor is accused of assaulting a prostitute, Haller is asked to defend him. The man claims that the woman is trying to get some money out of him. But when Haller looks at the evidence against him, he learns that this case might be linked to an old case of his. The Lincoln Lawyer is one of my favorite Matthew McConaughey movies it's very stylish and has some pretty great performances it also builds up with a lot of tension and it's a really good thriller and i loved that scene when Ryan Phillippe went by his house and he was standing there outside waiting for him with a gun on his hands really great film, performances and also pretty good direction and script you won't be disappointed.
