Reviews
Ehirerapp Waste of time
SoftInloveRox Horrible, fascist and poorly acted
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Angelo Torres The movie was not that good. The plot was just natural. The acting were not that good and it was too short to explain and show the viewers what is has to say. I had been looking for something but I didn't find it. The casting was weak. I was able to expect what would happen next. The characters are so few. On the other side, this movie may not be suitable for children due to some violent scenes and some sexual contents and languages. The number of harsh words was enormous. I gave it a two out of ten just because it was shot in a nice place. I think it would be better if they placed subtitles to some scenes where in other language was used. I may not recommend it to all those horror fans for the story is weak.
Vince Zen Okay, so as is my usual habits, I rented this movie and then read the reviews and message boards while opening credits were rolling. For the most part, everybody was in agreement that this movie sucked something fierce, however, I don't really share their opinion. Now as a rule, I WILL give a movie a bad review if it deserves, but in this case, I don't think it does. Essentially, four women end up alone in a deserted resort that has a bloody, ugly past where evil spirits still reside. What makes this story work is A) Interior Mexico is a damn scary place and B) The resort, even in the daytime is creepy as hell. Agreed, the acting isn't top bill Hollywood fair. None of the girls are ugly, but a few are hotter than Georgia asphalt. I wish they'd made the movie a little longer and given a bit more story to the back story, but that's just me. Overall, I thought it was a decent B flick. Don't expect Tarantion or Polanski and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
movieman_kev After a prologue showing a man brutally murdering a bound woman, five girls take a vacation in Mexico to celebrate one of them getting married. After a night of partying four of them are abandoned in the middle of nowhere by some Mexican thugs (the fifth one ,Sophie, got lucky the night before and didn't join them for the little trip) As Sophie and her 'one night stand' guy and his friend look for her missing friends, the other ladies stumble over a strange church/resort that seems to affect them in a bad way.For a movie that's only one hour & 7 minutes (excluding credits), this one sure takes awhile on the set-up. The horror elements don't even really come into effect until the last 10-15 minutes (the guy from the prologue is relegated to just a two short flashbacks and those scenes seem like filler. The movie itself is alright for what it is, i guess. The production values are decent and it did keep me (semi) interested. Of course the ending leaves it WIDE open for a sequel.Eye Candy: Sita Young gets topless, her hair covers her nipples for the most part thoughMy Grade: C-Lionsgate DVD Extras: Only a promo for Break.com; trailer for this movie; and trailers for "Frontier(s)", "The Slaughter". That's all
dbborroughs Good looking but really badly acted barely feature length film about a South of the border resort that possesses whom ever ends up there. Starting with a ghoulish opening where a mad man kills a woman only to be killed by the locals, the film shifts to the arrival of a bunch of girls to a resort somewhere in Mexico. They are there for a bachelorette party. After a wild night four of the girls go with two guys from the resort to see the sights only the sights the guys want to see is the girls. Things turn ugly and the girls are stranded, with one of them bleeding. They wander into the cursed resort, but before they do so they call their friend who is still back in her room. Eventually everyone ends up at the cursed resort where the body count sky rockets. What can I say? the gore is good, the rest isn't. Adequately shot the weak cast and script just let it all down, its just dumb. Its 75 minutes you'll never get back
