mraculeated The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

Lee Eisenberg The clever "Posledniy lepestok" is about a girl given a flower by an old sorceress. The flower grants any wish, so naturally the girl wishes for extravagant things, only to find out that extravagant wishes cause major problems, forcing her to come up with a different kind of wish. I guess that the short is saying that - to quote Peter Parker - with great power comes great responsibility. And of course they use humor to show this. I particularly liked the toy scene. It goes to show that cartoons don't need high budgets to be good; this short is far more interesting than these animated features based entirely on star power. I recommend it.
