Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Aspen Orson There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
gix3005 this was a good movie enjoyable and entertaining. even if it could use some adjustment to the screen play and the moment right before the wedding could be done more professionally but over all it was a good movie.and let me tell you , all wedding movies are cliché but at least this one wasn't all about s e x , nudity and getting f ucked up the night before the wedding on the bachelor party which ruins the wedding day like other "rom com s". this one had more sense, for me it was a fine funny and entertaining movie.if you liked American pie: the wedding then you gonna love this cause its way more better than that and have less crazy and more laughter. so give it a shot "if you don't enjoy it you definitely wont regret it".
michaeltomorrow Okay, so six reviews of this movie...all written within a day of each other, all written in the same voice, and all the reviewers have only one review to their names. If these "glowing" reviews aren't enough to make you suspicious, let me be quite clear. This movie is TERRIBLE. It's basically a series of gross-out jokes, ridiculous injuries and tired clichés that could have been written by a group of high schoolers. In fact the entire film has a very amateurish feel to it, which makes it impossible to connect with any of the very thin storyline. Mena Suvari must owe someone in England a big favor, and hopefully this erased her debt, because even this poor excuse for a comedy is far out of her league (which is saying a lot considering she was in American Pie). This "rom com" is not romantic, not funny and really not worth your time.
Sally Alex and Jeremy are getting married. Nothing can go wrong....can it? It's the morning of the wedding. People have to get ready for the most important day in these two people's lives. But there are some hitches in the run up to the wedding such as the ring disappearing into somewhere no one should ever venture, a car that looks like it's come straight from Pimp My Ride, torn suits, tummy troubles, big pants and a missing bridesmaid. From the start, there are laugh out loud moments as we join the bride and groom on their journeys from home to the altar. Will Jeremy ever get to the church on time? What happens when Alex has an attack of nerves? The Knot is a fun, light-hearted comedy which will have you laughing to the end. Definitely one to see and enjoy the fun!
Sara Al-Tahan Thoroughly enjoyed Skys preview screening of The Knot Film on 02/10/12!! You guys did good! Plenty of LOL moments definitely theBritish Rom com of the year!! I thought this was a bit of a different direction for Noel Clarke and i wasn't too sure how this would come together, but i am very pleased to say that this film did NOT disappoint in anyway! Cleverly written and well cast there were no awkward moments. Talulah Riley plays the bride to be very well and has some cracking bridesmaids played by none other than the beautiful and talented Mena Suvari, Rhoda Montemayor who steals the show as bridesmaid Anisha and also the lovely Louise Dylan. Lets not forget the real men in the film Noel Clarke, Davie Fairbanks, Mathew McNulty, Jason Maza, Brett Goldstine who i think gave class A performances!!Definitely Britains own Hangover/Bridesmaids Well done to everyone involved in making this cracker! #IDO Make sure if you see one Rom com this year this should be it!
