The Amazing Spider-Man Trailers

Peter Parker is an outcast high schooler abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Reviews
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Jenna Walter The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
invisibleunicornninja Before I watched this movie, I had enjoyed plenty of reviews calling it terrible, and seen plenty of people online mock it for being the worst version of Spider-Man out there. I also noticed that some people liked it. When I put the Netflix DVD into the DVD player, I was hoping that at the very least it would be mediocre. Sadly, it was not. Story - This movie is ridiculously contrived, full of scenes and subplots that make little sense. Its uninteresting and generic. The only genuine enjoyment that I found in this movie is from one or two scenes that were actually good. One or two scenes in a 2hour+ movie. Other than those, I spent the runtime laughing at how bad the movie was. If you aren't the kind of person who can find enjoyment in laughing at how bad a movie can be, then you will be bored watching this abysmal iteration of Spider-Man.Characters - I don't really blame the actors for their terrible performances. With the dialogue they are given, it would take the greatest actors on the planet to make it work. The words they say are cringey and unrealistic. Few instances of banter actually work (there is like one scene where Spider-Man is messing around with a criminal and it is honestly enjoyable. Doesn't save the movie though). Every time the movie tries to deliver on some kind of emotion, it fails miserably. I was laughing at the pure stupidity at what is Uncle Ben's death scene.Effects/Action - How is it that the effects in Spider-Man (2002) which came out ten years before this one had better effects? Simple answer, this movie is over-reliant on CGI. The great thing about having characters that wear masks that conceal their entire faces is that at any point you can swap out the actor for a stunt man who can do the trick so that the scene looks as real as possible. For some reason, the people who made this movie decided against that and just used CG for most of the fight scenes. There are some bits with Spider-Man that look ok, but The Lizard looks so bad its not even funny. I wouldn't care as much about the effects if the characters were entertaining or the situations were well-written, but they aren't. Sound Design - Its ok, but the music choices suck. I don't really have anything else to say about this movie. Its not worth watching except maybe on a so-bad-that-its-good level. It does get pretty boring and there's only so much hilarity to be found in unrealistic plot contrivances. If you're a fan of Spider-Man, this movie will make you mad and/or make you appreciate the other versions of him even more. Other than a few exceptions, I would not recommend this movie.
tomr-28618 Bland is the best way to describe this movie. It's not awful and it certainly isn't great. This is probably the most boring Spiderman film, at least with The Amazing Spiderman 2 and Spiderman 3 having so much going on, your attention is drawn to different things. (Although those movies are boring and messy themselves). This film just feels like a remake of Spiderman with no charm really. The acting is okay, the characters are pretty bad and the villain in particular is awful. The structure of the film isn't as much of an issue as it's sequel but the scenes don't exactly build up to anything and it just feels like an attempt to get the groundwork layed out for future films. There are some decent scenes like the final battle where Gwen's Dad helps Peter and tells him to keep away from her. But there really isn't much more to praise. Overall it's just kind of bad with some okay elements and isn't really worth watching if you've seen Spiderman 1 because it just feels like a mediocre version of that. This is my fith favourite Spiderman film.
egyprogamer It's my favorite movie for this moment Andrew Garfield and emma stone Really it's amazing
Platypuschow I was deeply unhappy when I heard about the filming of The Amazing Spider-Man, I believe in original ideas and with something as broad as Spiderman at least giving it a decent length of time before "Rebooting".It was too soon, the quality of the McGuire trilogy is irrelevant it was simply too soon to be starting again. Yet another origin story, another introduction to Gwen, another uncle Ben death scene and another villian.Andrew Garfield is dull, he simply didn't cut it as Spiderman and I consider Emma Stone to be one of the most overrated actresses in Hollywood so the newly reborn franchise wasn't off to a great start in my eyes.So at over two hours at least they gave the movie a chance to shine, alas it doesn't though it's not the complete train wreck I expected. In this outing (And origin) Parker takes on The Lizard played by the always excellent Rhys Ifans who is simply too good for this movie. It has its moments but for $230 million it damn well should have had considerably more. The Good:Crane scene was greatLizard looked decentDennis Leary & Rhys IfansThe Bad:I really don't like Andrew GarfieldWeak soundtrackWas simply too soon after the last "Reboot"Things I Learnt From This Movie:Some Lizards can grow limbs back at will...........at will!?Along with super powers spider bites also provide personalities
