Not even bad in a good way

The movie runs out of plot and jokes well before the end of a two-hour running time, long for a light comedy.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

The action takes place in India where the Maharanee is in big trouble:her husband died and nobody knows where his last wills are hidden;perhaps in a cardboard temple ? An international cast cannot save an abysmal screenplay which blends archaeology, a Tarzanesque hero (Lex Barker) and two raiders who want to double-cross the wicked Maharanee .French Maurice Ronet knew better days with Louis Malle ("Le Feu Follet" "Ascenseur Pour L'Echafaud" ) and René Clément ("Plein Soleil") .Lex Barker has got a pet ,a chimpanzee that provides the movie with its would be comic relief.The good ones are rewarded,the villains are punished .Hare Krishna!
