Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha, the founders of Christianity and Buddhism, are living together as roommates in a Tokyo apartment while taking a vacation on Earth. The comedy often involves jokes about Christianity, Buddhism, and all things related, as well as the main characters' attempts to hide their identities and understand modern society in Japan.

Reviews
Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
viralbheda19-705-7781 The Good: Conceptually, this movie is brilliant. It's high-concept storytelling at its most divine (pardon the pun). The movie's slice-of-life depiction of two of the most celebrated religious/cultural leaders makes for a fun experience. The movie can feel offensive to those who easily get offended (one must remember - feeling 'offended' is a manifestation of one's own insecurities). If you watch this movie with an open mind, you'll have a good time. The Bad: As is the case with most Japanese comedy (anime or otherwise), some jokes don't translate well into English. This is important to note since this movie is basically a light-hearted comedy. The animation could've been better too - the movie has way too many still shots with background narration - at times it feels like less of a movie and more of a slideshow.
