A Surprisingly Unforgettable Movie!

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

Let's face it.This movie is incredibly cliché, as Korean romance dramas and movies go. First of all, there's a pair of long-lost siblings, one of which falls in love with the other. Second, there's a not-so-popular girl and two gorgeous, popular guys who fall for and fight over her. Third, one of the characters suffers from a tragic disease, which, eventually, takes his life.Still, I like this movie.Without the right actors, this movie would probably have disappointed fans of the novel. But because the actors fit the roles perfectly, the movie is engrossing--I honestly couldn't stop watching. Kang Dong Won, despite his pretty face, gives an awesome, heartrending performance, not to mention Lee Chung Ah and Jo Han Sun, plus all the supporting actors.I'd definitely recommend this movie to everyone.

If you are well aware of Korean Dramas and Movies .. This movie might not offer something new to you.. The story seemed to be cliché ridden with classic Korean tragic twists. None the less the movie is well made, with excellent soundtrack (even the KDW's song was good). The story is good although very disturbing at certain point (I'm not up for incest).. Kang Dong Won did an excellent job acting along with rest of the cast. However it is not a comedy story or an action film .. it falls into drama category.Story stars with an average looking girl moving to Seoul and 2 high school rival gang leaders falling in love with her charming personality (one of them being her biological brother)... The story could've been better if they had skipped the falling in love with the sister part instead focus on building their relationship as new found siblings, while trying to protect the sister from the rival gang leader. I didn't mind the dying part though.. Overall I'm giving it 8 stars..

My motif to see this movie was mainly Kang Dong-Won, who is one of the two lead actors of this film. I first saw him in the movie "Maundy Thursday" aka "Our Happy Time", and thought he did a convincing job (movie recommended!). KDW shot to stardom when he appeared in "A Romance of Their Own", and even took home an award for best new-comer. When I saw this movie, however, I must say that I was kind of disappointed. The acting overall was flat, and the story felt rushed, not to say cliché and often times off-putting. People who are familiar with Korean dramas/movies will definitely recognize the formulas used here. However, I still have to give kudos to the choreographer of the fight scenes used in this movie. It was quite exciting to watch, although a bit short. As to why the movie is called "Temptation of Wolves", I do not know, but the beginning credits do show us the sun setting and the cry of a wolf! The first half of the movie was upbeat and refreshing, with a touch of naiveté. The second half, however, dragged on too long, and the plot became too troublesome, so that somehow the ending made sense.

It's nice to see a romantic comedy that does not have the prissy man lead, this has solid acting from both male leads and also from the female lead and although the story is a little long and a little cliché you cant help but like it.I think the story was a little rushed at the end, but extending that would have made the story even longer. Superior to other romantic comedies such as 100 days with Mr arrogant, and possibly tied with my tutor friend. It would make an interesting introduction to Korean cinema, not as great as My sassy girl, but still good.
