Fulke Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

The-Lonely-Londoner Ida Lupino made her screen debut in this film having not pursued her education beyond school. She did not show any promise at this early stage in her career and looked very much like a poor woman's version of Bette Davis: bland and horizontal.
