Reviews
SmugKitZine Tied for the best movie I have ever seen
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
Casey Duggan It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Matt Greene All the childish humor and genuine kindness at the core of this world has been swallowed up by ingenuous storytelling and sappy sentimentality. And before you say I'm taking it too seriously, you should know that I think the 1970s original is a straight-up masterpiece, and I hold these against that scrutiny. So back off.
Lil_Kim69 Piglets big movie is the best movie I've seen, nd I'm 15! i watch it over and over. the music is great and the story line is gripping!!! i disagree with anyone who says it is rubbish when i don't think it is! at the end i was on the verge of tears! it is an emotional film about friendship, if only we all had friends like them! Piglets big movie shows that no matter how small you are you are big in peoples lives and that meant something to me as I'm short! it made me see that no matter how much you think no one needs you, at least one person needs you and would do anything to make sure you are ok1 i was so thankful for my friends after i saw this film!!
cryptobat I saw the Disney's animated pooh stories as a child. Now I am old enough to have my own kids (I'm 24) and I'm so glad Disney has continued to make such lovely kiddy movies. There's really nothing to dislike when it comes to choosing something sweet, innocent and good for children.the song are fun. However! as an animation nut I am afraid it is a let down for an adult audience, fans or otherwise. As this movie is not really a movie at all but a series of short stories revolving around piglet. Still kids won't care. And the songs are nice. The animation is not improved from the TV series, but that's OK as its nice anyway. And little kids again won't CARE about movie quality animation. And that's what people need to realize. This is made for CHILDREN and not adults like so many movies are nowadays. Gone are the purely INNOCENT movie of our heydays. Like Dumbo and Bambi.fans will smile, if your not a fan don't bother...simple as that really
kevin c This film is a major milestone in my life. Not for it's cinematic credentials, but because this was the first time my 2 year old daughter Iris came to the cinema with me.Well she loved it, and it kept her entertained for 75 minutes. As an adult it was adequate, not that sickly and buzzed along at a decent pace.
