Reviews
Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
d_stillaway A fast moving and varied account supposedly of female sexual fantasies but in fact revealing more of the longings and desires of the films director as portrayed by Tinto Brass. The style seems to vary between each episode and also seems to be filmed in a variety of period styles and fashions. Although made in 1995 it often has the feel of a period movie. Nevertheless entertaining and rewarding.
Shaft-22 I saw P.O.Box Tinto Brass yesterday and I must admit that it is not as good as "The Voyeur". The most disappointing thing is that the sound track from "The Voyeur" is reused here and the whole thing feels jolly-cheap. I liked two scenes though; the opening and the angry housewife who got a telephone call from a stranger.
