Erik Lund is a professor in child psychology. When his sister and her husband go on vacation, he is left in charge of their five children. He really feels up to it, since he is now going to be able to try out his skills in child psychology. However, reality is something else than theory and children do not always do as they are supposed to, according to his book on child psychology. The children soon fool him into doing as they please when it comes to food and pleasures. However, soon they start to realise that if they can make him serve them hot dogs and hamburgers and let them watch TV as much as they like, they can also make him help them restore their old house, so that they won't have to move, as their parents want to. And, as their uncle is nice enough to help them, they also decide to try and get him a wife.

Reviews
Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Catangro After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Quiksilverkid This is a deeply proffesional film that entertains its core audience, namely children, with great entusiasm. The actors does a magnificent job, especially the children act over their age. This film can be recommended to every childrens family all over hte world cause happy happy is universal
x_lars Watched this one with my 11-year old daughter, who really enjoyed it.Erik Lund is a professor in child psychology - without the benefit of ever having actually raised a child! His new book is out and inspires his sister to leave their five children, ranging from 3 to 17 of age, to their well-educated uncle, while mum and dad flies of to Paris. The house is put up for sale, but in fact it more likely deserves the wrecking ball! Erik Lund (very aptly played by Peter Gantzler) shows up, only to discover, that actually living children are some kind of vertically challenged terrorists! And the are very determined, that their beloved ruin of a family mansion, is not to be sold! And, while we're at it; Uncle, who is also a determined bachelor, needs some lady companionship! All in all, a successfully updated and well executed remake of a more than 30 years old idea, that I enjoyed, when I was a kid - good fun for the whole family.
