Reviews
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Freeman This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
r-hehl I've seen this movie in a special screening here in Germany. To my surprise only few people went to see it. Normally, when they show Turkish movies, the theater is packed. The movie was like an Almodovar movie without the sex. It was mostly very funny. It is about a dysfunctional family, a similar story as in Mr Morgan's Last Love but presented as a soap opera. From early on in the movie the audience is let in on the secrets which the three kids are hiding before their father, an old patriarch. He clearly is the boss and even the grown up kids still obey him. He has been hospitalized due to an accident and the kids reunite as a family. The story is about how their secrets are slowly discovered by the father and the siblings. The movie has a fast pace and it is sometimes hard to catch up with the subtitles.
