Reviews
ThiefHott Too much of everything
Inadvands Boring, over-political, tech fuzed mess
Stephan Hammond It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
bradly-hackworth The lead up to the end of this film was great in that it was very confusing but all came together to make great sense. Well done by all cast and crew. Getting to see Margot Kidder doing her thing after all these years was a true treat. Director Nicholas Gyeney took this team and had them grab all the right timing to make an excellent performance all the way around. And if you have yet to see this film, you with die with laughter when you see Margot Kidder rockin' it out in all her glory. Gary Busey did not need much time to bring what was needed to crush it! Ultimately, I don't think I could ever go back to getting a regular haircut after the,"Six Million Dollar Man" gave it a go! Good job, I'm looking forward to seeing what comes about next!
Erin Cantgiveout So, after waiting months and months to see this movie, I finally got the chance to order it, and received it today. I couldn't get it in my DVD player fast enough! Matt's Chance is not your average ooey gooey love story. It's real life, the real deal of what happens when you've been taken advantage of, in a semi twisted sort of way. There's none of that ...'and they lived happily ever after' stuff. If you've been burned before, like a lot of us have, then you know that fairy tale stuff doesn't cut it. But Matt's Chance does. I really enjoyed Eddie Furlong in a comedic role too. He did a great job, as well as Gary Busey and Margot Kidder. This movie is a MUST SEE!
MikeBoydstun-DP I was the cinematographer on this movie so it seems a bit self-indulgent to write a review, but I'm doing it anyway, that is if you can call my opinion a review. The schedule of this production was short so we really had to move fast and make decisions. I have to say that the finished product is something I'm proud of. The actors were great and each brought something unique to their performance. Nicholas Gyeney new what he wanted and got it. After we shot I was on to other things so I didn't see hardly a frame until it was shown at festivals. I was blown away at how everything came together, the music, the editing, the acting, the direction...Matt's Chance is a true original American movie.
Greta Quispe I absolutely loved this movie!!! It was hysterical yet dramatic as one cant help but to empathize with poor Matt!! I'm a bit of a movie snob, I barely find any interest in going to the movies unless its absolutely worth it, and this movie was!!!Everyone was amazing, to the point that I had to IMDb all the major characters!! The major players were great! however Bill Sorice who played Gabor was scary yet hysterical and ..sexy.. at the same time! This movie needs to be distributed to all major theaters, i think we all need a break from what we currently have as "movies" and actually see an awesome plot with a great and talented cast!!! two thumbs up!!!!
