Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The movie runs out of plot and jokes well before the end of a two-hour running time, long for a light comedy.

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

Well, I have to say that this movie is amazing! (compared to other Hungarian movies ... ) The film is not only a really great comedy, but also gives an insight into the life of the 60's (in Hungary). Furthermore, the music makes it so much better!! We all know that the story is about a musician, Miklós Fenyo, who has lived in America, but his family had to move back to Hungary. I also must mention the actors, mainly Szabó Kimmel Tamás, who played so well. In my opinion, this comedy/musical contains everything what the genre requires; from the house party to the love. All in all, I really enjoyed every single part of the movie. That's why, I recommend it anyone, whatever age you are if you need distraction.Well done ;)
