Reviews
Inclubabu Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Mehdi Hoffman There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Sonu Monu I thought it would be a great Punjab Based movie but it let down badly. Weak script but good acting skills kept something for watchers. My views :-1-The very basic Khurana Dhaba ( restaurant) is away from main road....no dhaba will run whatever the taste of curry. 2- Khurana Community belongs to community of who migrated from Pakistan mostly settled in cities of Punjab and never seen in small villages.3- Acting of Aunt of Omi and Mama ( Rajesh Sharma ) is awesome.4- A Punjabi guy Jeet suddenly speaks flawless Bangla /Bengali .....My score 2/10......
Tejas Nair So, we had nothing to do last weekend and so we decided to watch this awe- uninspiring movie. It starts off well, but as it rolls, the plot is too predictive. The glamor of the movie is the recipe of the movie is Chicken Khurana and the whole idea is so... so hackneyed and vague that you lose all your interest and still there is 30 minutes to go. Sequences like the girl kisses Kunal Kapoor and some farty funny ones will make you laugh but still at the end, the "buchade hue dost" scene was too unrealistic. If the ending would have been better, I would have voted 7 instead of my 4.Enough said, watch this not-so-cooking movie if you have watched all movies of the IMDb top 250!
diehard_elvisfan The movie has characters which are so accurate and genuine but then the plot has a hint of fiction in it. Had it been set on a non fictitious platform the movie could have pulled out brilliantly. Soundtracks give a good touch to the movie as it is quite slow paced and we do need something to move along. The script again could have done much more had it been tidied up a bit. Thematically its quite accurate as well with the locations. Just the fiction part ruined the perfection of the movie. The acting is good, Kunal Kapoor needs to drop the slow model walk that he does else its fine, Huma Qureshi justifies her role as a Punjaban and has done a good job, Titu mama (Rajesh Sharma) is outstanding, rest of the characters are also good. The comic punches are original, the script is refreshing compared to the run-of-the-mill fast paced comedy drama's. Watch it but don't justify it and you will surely love the Chicken Khurana that stews in the plot.
Harsh Trivedi i just watched LSTCK.. and it was a nice movie...script was nice...and all the performances were great...but i must say best 1 was 'titu mama'.... LSTCK is very simple story but director's way of story telling was great..and all the actors including supporting actors were simply great..at first i thought that movie is a little bit slow but gradually it started to unfold in a great way......i don't remember when i last saw kunal kapoor but his performance was also good...and man i must say that huma qureshi is really a very good actress..she's just two films old and i have become her huge fan.... i recommend this movie to all this is such a light hearted comedy film..
