It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Kien Navarro
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Tayyab Torres
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Justina
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

Keitaro and the girls of the Hinata House are back for a double length Christmas special. There is a belief that if you profess your love to somebody on Christmas Eve then you will have a happy life with that person
both Keiraro and Naru intend to profess their love for each other but inevitably things don't quite go according to plan! Having badly sprained his ankle Keitaro tells Naru how he feels but he doesn't get the reaction he was hoping for; she walks off and catches the train to Tokyo. Keitaro and the other girls all follow her but when they find her she is with her old flame Seta. Keitaro imagines the worst and leaves not knowing she was telling Seta that she liked Keitaro. Now she has to find him before midnight; it shouldn't be hard but inevitably there are plenty of difficulties along the way.Having enjoyed the twenty five episode series I expected to enjoy this too
I was not disappointed. There is somewhat less slapstick than the series; this is a more romantic story; but that isn't a problem and there are still plenty of amusing moments. These include Motoko dealing with a groper on the train, Keitaro ending up naked in a love hotel with Mitsumi and inevitable Keitaro being thumped when he accidentally sees the girls in the hot spring. The romantic story was sweet without being overly sentimental; I'm sure most viewers will be hoping that Keitaro and Naru manage to get together before midnight. These Comments are based on watching the special in Japanese with English subtitles.

First Of All, Love Hina is a great Anime Series. I watched all 25 episodes, the 2 specials and the OVA over 4 days! And believe me, it wasn't a waste of time!Anyway... The Christmas Special in my opinion is the better special out of the 2! There are many moods and feelings in which you encounter when you watch this special! It's a great movie! I have watched the movie many times and I still love it!I would recommend this to anyone along with the Love Hina Episodes, Love Hina Again and The Spring Special! The Music Is Fantastic as well! (Yeah, I love listening to Japanese music! One day I hope to learn how to speak Japanese!) I had to download it after I watched the movie!Anyway, I'd give it a straight up 9 out 10 !
