A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The movie is not outstanding. It would be possible to develop a little bit more the dramatic moments of the story - mainly the relationship between Jeanne and Robert or Kat's discovery of her disease. However, the movie is not about that. The movie is an elegy to the memory of Kat - even more because the director of the movie is one of her elder brothers, David Schurmann. And the movie delivers what it promises, since, at the end, a beautiful and touching message reaches the audience. The actors are great - Júlia Lemmertz and Maria Flor are outstanding. The movie also deals with a very difficult topic, but from a child's perspective. All that leads to a very dramatic and touching end.Overall, it is a good movie that tells a very beautiful, yet sadly short story.
