Reviews
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
TaryBiggBall It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.
Usamah Harvey The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
lpatterson83 This is a film that changed the circus world as we know it. I always loved the circus as a child, the awful smells, the animals that I got to see up close and the action and excitement. This film takes you behind the scenes to places you really don't want to go.It really lifts up the rock of Circus's and shows you what is underneath. The film showed far more technical and logistical issues than I expected, but they were key to the film. How do you move a lion who really is starving and pretty filled with rage? It's a poignant story that will affect how and IF there ever are circus's in the future. Starting in Bolivia a tiny country that banned the traveling circus, and going on to show how other country's have. This is a film that you want to see because it will change what we think of as a nice event to take your children too, and if you go for no other reason, you will see one of the most beautiful, elegant and terrifying lions ever!!!
