Lassie Trailers

On their way to start a new life at a sheep farm in rural Virginia, the Turner family are halted by a wreck on the highway that has claimed the life of a truck driver. Spotting the trucker's now-abandoned collie on the side of the road, they take pity on the dog and adopt her. As the city family copes with the change to rural life, including a feud with a neighboring farm family who resent the city interlopers, the ever-loyal Lassie helps them adjust to their new surroundings.

Reviews
Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
SteinMo What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.
Borserie it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
ActuallyGlimmer The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Donald Kimball Hello It will never go out of Production and should never go away Lassie is one of the Best Family Movies ever made and this one is no exception Long Live Lassie I just finished watching it and I have to say I was not disappointed as always it was great good story line great acting the country views were fantastic if you get a chance to see it get the pop corn ready and sit back and relax and enjoy yourself once again. Talking about family movies they don't make them like they used to and TV is shot as well, TV used to be a great medium for everyone to enjoy the enjoyment has left all you have now are reality shows no more leaving things to your imagination or just good entertainment Don
bfellow212 OK, first off let me just say this is a spoiler preview, so fair warning. I have seen this movie only once, and once was enough. It was so perfect, so utterly amazing, that I need never see it again, it's all in my minds eye as clear to me as the birth of my first child. I don't have to go to the tape, it's burned in my memory for all time. Some films, how should I put this, some films come straight down from heaven, written directed and produced by GOD! This MIRACLE of modern art that is cinema has the potential(I think) to change the world. Ok, maybe you think I'm some nut who just really likes dogs, well far from it. In fact, dogs terrify me. I have to cross the street even if it's one of those tiny ones old ladies carry in their purses. But this movie allows me to get past that absurd phobia. I like to watch movies with my kids, I like to make sure they don't see violence and sex and stuff like that, at least not till they are older in the double digits. This movie is perfect to watch with your kids. I'm lucky cuase ever since the plant got shut down I've had tons more time to watch tv with them. Now I said that this was a teaser review and it is. Here's what I'll give away: CLAYTON BARCLAY JONES is the next BRAD PITT. I mean it's like I'm looking at his younger brother. CBJ lights up the screen, my oldest daughter is obsessed with him. She even has his POPS cereal comercial on tape. I'm a family man, I got kids and I got a wife who loves me. But that Mr Jones makes me feel things for a man I wasn't sure I was capable of. He's that good. Listen go watch this movie. Savour it. If you feel like watching it two times through I'll understand. Plus there are rumors in the works for a sequel, FINGERS CROSSED!!!! BOTTOM LINE- FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.
KangarooSally This movie was fun. I like Dogs, and I think this movie lived up to my expectations about what a Lassie movie should be. I watched it with my 8 year old sister who was very entertained by the whole thing. It's true, the plot is quite simple, and the sheep farming wasn't totally accurate, but overall, this movie which focuses on some young kids and of course, Lassie, is good for a night at home in your jammies. My parents were very happy when we picked this off the shelf at the video store. While my sister and I were very happy that Lassie was so beautiful, and that we had fun watching this movie together.
little_sexy_katie I think Lassie is a very good movie! Sure it's mostly for kids but I am 16 and I still enjoy it! When I was younger this movie was my favourite and I was in love with Thomas Guiry who played Matt. I think he was fantastic, his acting was phenomenal and he totally stole the limelight, it's worth watching just to see him!
