Reviews
Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Blucher One of the worst movies I've ever seen
DipitySkillful an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Zbigniew_Krycsiwiki Really cute girl, stuck home alone, in the dark, is first puzzled and annoyed by, then later threatened by, a persistent knocking heard throughout her home. Is it kids playing a prank? Not at 1am. Certainly not at 2am. The pounding stops. Armed with a baseball bat, she slumbers briefly, until the knocking begins again at 4,44am. The telephone (an actual landline! Who still has those things?) rings and jingles on the hook suddenly, but, not surprisingly, no one is on the other end when she answers. Nor is anyone at the front door when she throws it open.Finding a Polaroid photo (again, in this day and age, who still has a Polaroid?) of her closet door, with the words 'In Here' scrawled on it, just as the handle starts jiggling, she fears for her life but doesn't try to leave, just sits there and gasps, paralised with fear.I enjoyed this short film, it has a bit of suspense in its seven minutes runtime, and a babe in the lead role. I enjoyed it more the second and third times I watched it than I did the first time, but it seems terribly outdated (yet again, who still has a landline, and a Polaroid cameras in this day and age?) Final twist of not revealing the girl's fate until *after* the closing credits is a novel idea.
Theo Robertson Casie a young student preparing for her final exams prepares for bed then hears a knock on the door This is a short horror film written and directed by Deric Nunez using the age old premise of young woman stuck in the house alone one dark lonely night and finding herself in danger from an unseen assailant . It does bring a lot new to the party but does what it sets out to do efficiently . Nunez also addresses a pint that is often missing in this type of scenario and that is why does the victim ever jump to the conclusion that the knocking on the door might be caused by children having a prank ? but Nunez has the foresight by showing a radio alarm showing the time that makes it unlikely children would be out at the time . BTW make sure you keep watching until after the credits have rolled that shows the fate of Casie
