Ortiz Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Michael_Elliott Scherzo infernal (1984) *** (out of 4) Here's another bizarre short from Walerian Borowczky. This one here deals with a female angel who dares to question the "higher ups" because she enjoys what sin has to offer. This six-minute animated piece takes place in both Heaven and Hell and if you're a fan of the director then I'm sure you'll enjoy this one. We're introduced to a variety of characters, all sinners, but the main person is of course the angel and her desires. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking about this short but at the same time it's certainly a lot of fun. The director brings his surreal touch to the material and there's no question that the animation itself is quite good, if a bit standard.
