In the Sign of the Cross Trailers

Fictional story of a traffic accident that triggers a catastrophe near a small village in 1990. A liquefied gas truck collides with a transport truck carrying radioactive material for reprocessing. An accident that was never thought possible by human standards. The radioactivity released must be contained at all costs. Not only the catastrophic consequences of the radiation, but also the panicked, irrational and inhumane behavior of those trapped in the village and the German army are portrayed in an almost unbearable way in this film.

Reviews
Claysaba Excellent, Without a doubt!!
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Patience Watson One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
Heizer-3 The film describes an accident while transportation of nuclear material near a German village. Most of the inhabitant are contaminated and will eventually die through the film. The scenario is not to realistic and the whole film smells like low budget. If you want to get good fiction concerning what would happen to men and society in comparable situations you should watch "The Day After". But if you get your hand on the DVD, the extra material contains an one hour discussion in German television that was broadcasted after the film and that is interesting not only because of it's relevance for nuclear problems but also as a historical document of good old German television discussions. You won't find something like that today.
