wolvenmeisjeesmee 24 years after the movie first aired in cinemas, I finally watched it. Forrest Gump isn't like any other movie I've ever watched. It's both lighthearted and comedic, and moving and deep.It shows how far a mother can go to ensure the best possible future for her son. It shows how friendship and love can still flourish, even after you've seemingly grown miles apart. And above all, it shows how having a disability doesn't have to hold you back. I think it's hard to label this movie. It's a comedy, it's a drama, it's a war movie. It's a movie about life and its hardships. Tom Hanks delivered another splendid performance. The other actors were wonderful as well. The soundtrack really complemented the scenes. The narrative style works out wonders. It's a true masterpiece and I regret not having seen it earlier.
