secretzfan You know I adored Battle of Gods as being DBZ's first time in a long time doing something smart and shocking with the property. So I must say that Freeza's resurrection doesn't do anything for me. Instead it tries to be a fun film that plays to the needs of the traditional DBZ fans who just want to see things blow up. Which is fun if you are like me and are a male then you also probably had a good time with this film. It was a really great and entertaining ride from beginning to end, and is very deserving even if it wasn't like Battle of Gods or something. It created a fun and immerse time to go to the theater and enjoy ourselves.

idanvinter123 I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball Z. It's been a massive part of my childhood, and I still love it to this day. I've watched Battle Of Gods and it was spectacular, too. Now let'stalk about why this movie is a must-see: The animation is outstanding, the dialog is great, super fun to watch, the story is great and the fight sequences... OMG !! The fight sequences are absolutely jaw-dropping. hey're amazing, intense, incredible, and the best part of this movie. Now the not-so-good parts: The opening is a bit confusing, and you don't really get any information about the first characters you see on the screen. Now the question- why did I gave this movie the full rating ? One simple answer: you can ignore the problems in this film because this film is so outstanding. I see movies from a professional perspective, and I still thought the mistake are ignore-able. I will definitely check both Battle Of Gods and this movie in the future. Saif Ahmed This movie exceeds expectations, it's amazing how they outdid battle of gods as that was also a brilliant movie. i enjoyed the way they included the z characters like Tien and Krillin giving them good roles where they aren't just getting wasted, i also loved how they brought the old washed up Master Roshi into this and made him bad arse KA ME HA ME HAA!!! amazing. I did not like the fact Trunks and Goten where not included and Gohan got one punched KO'D by freezer but i guess Toriyama has a plan with Dragon ball Super.As for the new forms. they are simply amazing Toriyama knows how to surprise people i loved the new forms of the Goku and Vegeta Super Saiyan god Super Saiyan is a mouthful though. Freezers new form OP i tell you that but he's a great villain. All in great movie contained humour kick arse action and a good story line.

alvaroperez3050 Firstly, you should know that I'm a massive Dragon Ball Z fan. I know that I rated this an 8/10 as a film. But, to me, this film was a 10/10 in terms of sheer enjoyment. Sure, after you watch the film, the narrative seems a bit thin. And, I've heard people complain that the movie was too short, and that too much was left unexplained. These are valid points. And it's the reason why I can't give this more than an 8/10. But, I can't hold that against this film or it's writer. The type of film this was made it impossible to tick every single box and do *everything* right. In fact, the movie is incredible despite the limitations that TOEI put on Toriyama. It was never going to win Oscars. It doesn't even try to explain its world to non- Dragon Ball fans. This film is basically TOEI's "action set-piece" cash grab to "Battle of Gods"....Except that it's really well made. The plot (as in: the way the story develops) is as brilliant as we could expect from Akira Toriyama. Despite the limitations in the over-all story, Toriyama makes everything feel fresh, unpredictable, exciting and genuinely hilarious. The spirit of Dragon Ball (and its characters) is perfectly captured in this film. Moreover, the pacing is nearly flawless. Sure, there were certain moments that didn't reflect what I wanted to see. But, I still really enjoyed them. To me, having the story end up exactly like you want is completely missing the point of Dragon Ball.The film is just so much fun to watch, & everything is so well executed. To me, it's a 10/10 experience; a dream movie for any Dragon Ball fan.
