Dosti: Friends Forever Trailers

Karan (Bobby Deol) was wealthy and a mansion was his habitat. Raj (Akshay Kumar) had empty pockets and the sky was his roof. Karan's jet ensured that he could fly if he wanted. Raj could only depend on his two feet. Karan had a family and yet craved love. Raj had love to share, but craved a family. Karan was the eternal Casanova. Raj was the proverbial one-woman man. Karan had it all, and yet felt empty. Raj had nothing, but his heart was full. They were two people as different as can be. Yet they found a common ground. One that led to the glorious road of Friendship! But can they sustain their friendship when new conflicts arise?

Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
silvan-desouza Suneel Darshan is one director who mostly resorts to old stories to move audiences, After giving a new lease to Akki's career with Jaanwar(1999) he gave him a flop TALAASH(2003) which also was a mix of many old films In 2005 he gave 2 films BARSAAT(copy of SWEET HOME ALABAMA) and DOSTI, both films flopped at the B.O. Dosti friends forever is as oldfashioned as ever, The film has all the clichés we have seen before, like the childhood friendship between rich boy Bobby Deol and a poor boy(done in the most outdated fashion) Bobby's parents have no time for him, they are the typical rich parents seen in films like Bobby(1973). Akshay's character reminds us of characters like Rajesh Khanna in Namak Haraam(1973) who relies on his friend for everything. Anywayz after years, Bobby is a playboy(like in Dillagi) whereas Akki is a sincere guy, Akki loves Kareena(this trio were in Ajnabee together) Bobby slowly and predictabily falls for Lara who gives him a trial period to prove himself. There is a twist at the interval which is well handled but then in the second half suddenly the film goes into the Kal Ho Naa Ho mode There are some good emotional scenes but the film gets too predictable yet Akshay's death scene is well handledDirection is outdated, nothing really to speak about Nadeem Sharavan's music too sounds dated, in fact this was their last film together as a pair.Akshay Kumar plays his role superbly, in that year Akki had got noticed as a comedian with GARAM MASALA which was a hit, followed by DHP which flopped, this was his last release and thankfully he isn't just a comedian, he does the serious part superbly Bobby Deol too is good as his friend, he leaves a huge mark especially in the emotional scenes but his appearance and styling could be better Kareena Kapoor gets less scope but does a good job, this wa her 3rd pairing with Akshay after TALAASH and BEWAFAA. Lara Dutta doesn't really get much scope and is okay Juhi Chawla is superb in her small role, Mahesh Thakur is good Kiran Kumar, Lilette Dubey are typecast, Shakti Kapoor has a cameo Karishma Tanna is okay in a brief role rest are all okay
holamellamosanjeev This is the first and only movie to make me cry. It was that good. This movie is really deep and will get you. The intensity at the end of the movie was so suspenseful especially at the end. This movie really got me started in watching Bollywood films. The beginning was very comical and the ending was very dramatic. It's very hard to find this in a Hollywood Film because it is usually is based upon one genre. 10/10 I have to have ten lines. This is the first and only movie to make me cry. It was that good. princess_sidra I can't see how any can stand this movie. I wasted my money renting this movie out. It is horribly predictable from the very first scene. Both actors bobby and akshay look like complete clowns (they should just stick with action/comedy roles). Not to mention the copy of Pear Harbour scenes between their friendship when they were young. I mean come on to show simple things as that no directer or story writer needs to Xerox Hollywood movies. And where did Larra Dutta character come from. she just disappears and then drops in from no where I mean it just keeps dropping from no where awful and unprofessional!!!!!There is only one thing good about this movie is the "DHULHANYA SONG". overall please don't waste your time or money watching this movie
syed_186 I went to watch this film in advance, and i have to honestly say that this film was surprisingly good. I have to admit that after interval where the secret is revealed, it was predictable, but which film isn't. This film has it all, laughter, emotion, glamour. But akshay kumar and bobby deol i have to say played their parts really well. As for the two girls, they are just eye-candy for the whole film. I recommend to watch this film. It is also quite a short film compared to other suneel darshan films and other films at the box off this Christmas, the only other thing i have to mention are the songs, which are terrific, some better than others, but overall they are good.
