AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Leoni Haney Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
Cheryl A clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Michael Ledo Low budget. Opens with with some poetry by a woman who fancies herself a writer. Jessica (Laila El-Damanhoury) kills herself on her birthday because her "friends" posted a photo-chopped video of her having sex on the Internet and now she can't get any work. Yes, no one wants to see a chunky tattooed model if she had sex on the Internet. Her best friend Alex (Natu Nimuee-writer, director) enacts revenge. No one can catch her because her commits the crimes in broad daylight, outside, and never wears gloves. This aspect abruptly ends as we enter a second story about Internet bullying where Marissa becomes a victim on her 18th birthday and she enacts revenge...all the while her dad watches remotely in very detailed cameras. The film included French with English subtitles, unrealistic models, slightly bad sound and an idiotic sign "Alex talks on phone to Rachel" as if this was a silent film. At times the film was "so bad it was good" laughable. The girls took a lot of showers. No real introduction of characters. People are shuffled in front of you and killed. Natu Nimuee reads some poetry attempting to give art house character to a bad slasher film.Guide: Some Nudity. No swearing or sex.
trashgang Let me tell you one thing. If you are in for a big laughter then this is a must see. I have seen thousands of flicks but the way they are talking English here is one big joke. If course it's a German flick and naturally they want to sell it throughout the whole world. But do you need to speak like that. Don't get me wrong, most of the English is correct but it's the way they say it. They articulate it like they read it from a big paper or something. You get it, this is terrible acting. The whole flick contains two stories but they really think that horror geeks are stupid or what. They do explain everything that is happening to be sure you understand it all.On part of the effects are there if any they also are exaggerated. There's nothing gory to mention and the dying is so theatrical, to be honest, the whole flick looks like an exam for school.Surprised to see some nudity but this was one hell of a terrible flick. Clearly no budget.Gore 0/5 Nudity 0,5/5 Effects 0/5 Story 1/5 Comedy 0/5
matthewhemmings I suspect the one review currently here is by a friend, so I'll attempt to set the record straight. You know it's meant to be a fairy tale because it screams this fact at you. There are also regular 'pointers' for the viewer posted on screen, such as "Marissa (or however you spell it) suffers from headaches." Not showing our heroine suffering from a few headaches and leaving it at that, oh no - that would be to easy for our director. They prefer to add text to make sure you are 100% aware of this fact, and they do that specific trick twice that I remember.I love indies but this made no sense. The writer didn't seem to be able to decide whether the Dad was a pervert or just weird, I didn't care - just another badly drawn character (some people use a fine pen for their characters, others seem to use a crayon and dribble a bit while sketching them).I could go on. You can probably tell that. But this hits the word count for IMDb there's no spoilers and there's no point - if you don't believe me by now about just how bad this is you never will.M
scriocewis434155 This teen horror film is unlike many other films. The colors are very beautiful, the story is logical, and the sound is very good. This low-budget film has a medium-to-high production value. Before I started writing this review, I found out information about the cast and crew. I was very surprised that this is the first feature film of the Director Natu Nimuee. The look: I think that the entire film is lit beautifully. They also did a lot of great work with the depth of field. The director has benefited many years of experience as a photographer.Music: As far as my research, the sound designer Valentina Sternenberg also works on audio dramas. Very nice music and effects. The story: There are actually two stories that run in parallel and are connected to each other. The film is very interesting and also socio-critical. After this movie, I started thinking about things like my Birthdays, my neighborhood, and my friends. Acting: The acting was, overall really, good. Effects: In the film, there is only one visual effect in which someone is shot. This scene looks very realistic. The effects in this shooting scene are done by Dany Baron, who is well known in the gaming community. Additionally, there are three really nice bloody scenes, which a lot of blood flows down the body or cover a large part of the ground.Sound: Most of the time, low-budget movies' sound suffers, but this movie is different. In this film, the dialogue (what the actors say to each other) is very understandable. I think that this sound is even better than many Hollywood productions. Very good work!Nudity: In the film, there were a few nude scenes staring an actress. I think it's just a pity that she hasn't showed her femininity. She was stiff. There was also a lesbian kissing scene, but I would have liked more lesbian action. And I think many others would like to see more erotic scenes, too.It is the first feature film by this director, and I think that the film is really good. I'm curious to see the following movies!
