Reviews
Softwing Most undeservingly overhyped movie of all time??
Micransix Crappy film
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
HorrorInside I wish I could rate it a -10. I could only get through 25 minutes of this movie before I had to shut it off. Not only does this movie completely rip off Friday the 13th, but it's so freaking dull and utterly laughable. John Stevenson should be ashamed for writing this garbage and Ralph Portillo should be embarrassed for directing this.I'm saddened that my daughter actually bought this and the sequel (of which I will NEVER watch), but this is the kind of stuff she likes. I like some indie stuff, but this is just ridiculously STUPID.Acting - sucksSound Effects - sucksVisual Effects - sucksBloody Murder - SUCKS!
djderka I usually try and I mean try and write a fair review of low budget horror movies, because of production issues, talent available and script writing. But this movie is just AWFUL.Even 4x fast forward doesn't help the viewer.Let's make a stew...awful tiresome script, some pretty bland actors and actresses, (friends maybe of director), the most boring direction ever seen in mo pix history...look up bland white bread direction.. the reference is Bloody Murder. See what happens when you make cheap video products available to the general public...Plot: Early adults go to summer camp, a killer lurks around, Sheriff comes late to help..minimal action scenes, no nudity, no cleavage, no tight shorts or skirts..hmmmm.This must be one of those 'let's make a movie this weekend' type of deals. Some think this movie is a spoof. HINT: A spoof has to be funny. See Scary Movie (all of them). This movie had no chuckles, no terror, and no interest in seeing the plot advance forward.A waste of digital pixels or film if that was used. You know this was shot in a weekend and then a pizza/beer party afterwards. Was this a calling card for the director? A calling card to work in a pizza joint. Check out any youtube video, it will be more entertaining.
LoneWolfAndCub Wow. Just wow. I did not realise a slasher could have no redeeming qualities, but I suppose you discover something new everyday. Usually when it comes to evaluating slashers I am very, very lenient because as long as there is enough gruesome (and inventive) murders and some gratuitous nudity it's all good. To be honest, I do not think I have ever seen a slasher that has not had either. Unfortunately, this happens to be the first, as there is nothing redeemable about Blood(less) Murder. The acting is laughably bad, and I mean really, really bad. Forget the slashers of the 80's (which were notorious for poor actors), this bunch are embarrassing. The script is stupid and sounds like it was written by a deaf monkey. However, my real beef with this movie is the complete lack of blood and nudity. There are around 6 deaths, half of which are off screen and the rest consisting of some object being thrown at them as they stumble around moaning (with a tiny amount terrible looking blood around the wound). Although the counselors (oh yea, I have not explained the plot, just refer to the plot summary of Friday the 13th and you will be fine) are nubile 18 year old's, there is but one brief, albeit clothed, kissing session. To top this off, the film is 100% serious and this is what makes it truly horrendous. Bloody Murder is the type of movie to watch in a "bad movie marathon" whilst drunk because it is really a dismal addition to the slasher genre.0/5
Miro do i see that right guys? you leave it 10points or what? for gods sake, you have to be a B-horror low-minded maniac to love this piece of ... i've seen a bunch of thrillers, horrors but i don't really think something was worse than this one.Jesus. acting terrible, script terrible, cut out of Friday the 13th, a stupid !not even a little bit scary! maniac with a ridiculous mask, going round the campus with a fork or wait, it was a knife..in his hand. notice that blood, i can make some liquid that would look like better than that by myself at home, that murders were so terrible that i laughed all the movie. the end was so predictable that i almost pi*sed my pants laughing. guys, i have seen some low-budgets movies but this is just a nonsense.Friday the 13th, Halloween, and some others, that were the movies where everything was all about fun and some fear but this one? it wont scare you, it wont entertain you by bloody murders either, if you are some that kind of 16 y.o. moron who rewinds videotapes for seeing how did the machete get into someones head. alright, when you are about to see this....movie...at least you know you will laugh when Trevor Moorehouse, or whoever..//can anybody see something in common with Voorhees.? no?// will totter in plan to stab a girl:) better avoid seeing it
