Apollo 18 Trailers

Officially, Apollo 17 was the last manned mission to the moon. But a year later in 1973, three American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense. What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it's the real reason we've never gone back to the moon.

Reviews
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
AnhartLinkin This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.
Yash Wade Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
andrewcaniglia This movie is the best hybrid of Alien and the Blair Witch Project anyone could possibly imagine. Wow. It really says something that every critic panned it. I do not have bad taste, allow me to explain. This movie has a perfect runtime for a horror film: 1 hour and 15 minutes. That is really all it needs to give us a movie that has a great beginning, middle and end. Not a second is wasted.I can't believe some people say this movie is boring, because this movie would've been special even without the monsters. Just the whole concept of going to the moon on a secret mission is riveting. The setting sets it way apart from all the lost footage films that take place in the woods, or somebody's home. I'd say pacing wise it is way better than paranormal activity. While that movie dragged on, this movie gets right to the point. You don't have to wait till the end for scares. It also had a pretty great ending. For a low budget horror film, it delivers the goods and on a grander scale than most other offerings. This movie deserves so much more praise than it gets. You will not get disappointed from watching it.
Alan Smithee Esq. So this wasn't as bad as I thought it may be nor was it anything particularly exceptional. I'm admittedly not a huge horror found footage fan. It's been overdone and there are few stand outs. This actually had a very interesting premise but a poor follow through. So if you're a found footage fan than it's definitely worth a watch. But there are far superior sci-fi horror films instead. The absolute king of the mountain would be "Alien".
SnoopyStyle In 1970, Apollo missions 18, 19, 20 were canceled due to the budget. In 1972, Apollo 17 lands on the moon as the final official mission. In 2011, 84 hours of classified footage is revealed. Commander Nathan Walker, Captain Ben Anderson and Lieutenant Colonel John Grey had been sent on a secret mission to the moon but they were not alone.By now, I'm a little tired of the found-footage premise. I imagine this would work much better with a straight forward telling. This could have been something great but it is as lifeless as the moon. Nothing remotely scary happens for the first half. The second half has some marginal body horror, creature horror, and zombie horror. Overall, it is marginal at its best and boring at its worst.
neldam00 Excellent film, one of the best science fiction movies without a big budget. Very well done, set in the time of the Apollo missions, a magnificent subject that leaves open in our minds the mystery of the interruption of the Apollo missions. This is a movie to see more than one time.
