Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Brightlyme i know i wasted 90 mins of my life.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
maykennon-64639 The first movie is a guilty pleasure of mine but sadly the sequel doesn't even try.The animation was worse than the first movie. I know Internet companies that try harder than that. Crest Animation Productions are the ones who brought us such 'classics' as Swan Princess Christmas, The Swan Princess: A Royal Family Tale and The Little Engine That Could. They haven't one great movie under there belt. Sure they made the first Alpha And Omega movie but from a technical stand point it's not very good. None of the characters are developed more and are boring. The new characters have pups but those kids aren't fun to watch and just aren't very likable. There's no pretty howling soundtrack like in the first movie so that's a disappointment. The music in here is very forgettable. The story hardly had anything to do with Christmas and had plot holes which made me start asking questions. Why did Princess suddenly change her mind at the end? Where is the huge army of rogues that they mentioned? Why don't the parents send their pups home where it's safer? Even if you've never seen the first movie you wouldn't like this movie. I don't care if it's straight to DVD movie. I've seen straight to DVD animated movies that are brilliant. (Wonder Woman movie) So there are no excuses for anything. Just stick with the first movie (that is if you're a fan) and ignore this.
jhilton0907 OK, there is a lot to say about Alpha and Omega 2. It's a great movie but not the best sequel in terms of length. The actors and actresses, were amazing, sounding like the original. Even though the originals couldn't reprise their roles, they found actors and actresses who not only did a great job but continued their amazing work. The animation could be a little better but we got a sequel, so we should at least be happy about that. Kate Higgins, from what I heard, she has a great voice and fits the role of Kate, just like Hayden Panettiere was when she voiced Kate in the original. The only problem with the movie is length, it's too short and still did not expanded much of the story. As for the story line, there was still so much holes left out that weren't covered in the original. The plot holes include Garth's mother, where was she? Humphrey's parents? Where are they? So many questions were still left out. The story line for the movie was OK, but they should have expanded the story line of the first one, including the past of either Humphrey or Garth and show what happened to Humphrey's parents or Garth's mother. They could have still included the pups, but expanding the story line is a good move because it adds a new story on the character instead of just making a new movie. The music, I got to say is pretty OK, love how they are using the same score from the first one but these movies lack their own score, different scores add new themes to the movie. Did Twilight use the same score over and over, no... they used different scores in each movie. That's one of the only things this series needs, it needs their own score as well, love how the original is used but new music can help the movie in more ways than you will think. Like they could make a love theme for Kate and Humphrey or for Lilly and Garth. They could easily made a creepy score to when the rogue wolves came in, giving away to the fact that they are bad wolves. That was one of the best things that made the original a great movie was the score. It was so beautiful, it added emotions to the story. My only hope is that in the future, with the possibility of more sequels coming, that they create their own score for them and adding to the story. So overall, this movie was somewhat well done but still needs to fill in the plots holes from the first movie. This series can do that, all it needs is the story line to be expanded and focus on the back story of characters, so we can see what made and shaped these characters into what we see in the movie. It's also adds certain themes to movies like a character having a bad past can either add a sad theme to the story. I always loved the Alpha and Omega movies, and thought this series deserves a little more praise than it's been getting. The sequels are not bad movies, they just need a chance. There will be good movies and bad movies, but this movie is not one of the bad movies. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but at least give this movie a chance.
A&O lover i loved "Alpha and Omega"! i don't care if it was slammed by critics, in fact every bad review makes me like it even more. it was 90 minutes of pure entertainment and in my book, it's 1 of the best movies ever made! now, ever since Alpha and Omega 1 came out in theaters, from 2010 we were promised a sequel to it. and right there, i was like "Is that real?" finally, it's out cause after 3 long years of waiting, i almost lost hope. "Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure" is finally here and i'm so happy! so, "Alpha and Omega 2" takes place almost 2 years after the first movie left off. Kate and Humphrey/Garth and Lilly are married, both packs are living in peace and Kate and Humphrey got 3 adorable little puppies who're gonna make your heart melt. i love those kids, really cute! so, everybody's happy, they're getting ready for the winter holidays and it's all good, but something goes wrong. Runt, the smallest puppy goes missing, and now it's up to Kate, Humphrey and the rest to find little Runt and get him back home before the snow blocks their way, and they realize no matter where they are "Home is where the family is". and now, i get to watch and review the fantastic sequel everybody's been raging about.so, "Alpha and Omega 2": yeah, it definitely was good and it was also great! it had some of the most emotional and heart warming moments i seen all year. the characters from the first movie that we all loved, they're back in the sequel and they're better. there's also new side characters and they were awesome, specially the puppies. they were just so adorable! and Garth and Lilly are in it too! i loved seeing em again. Lilly used to be this really beautiful but shy Omega girl. now she's all hardcore, she's more relevant and she's still gorgeous. Kate still remains the hottest girl in the movie. she was ridiculously hot in the movie, and she still knows how to throw down. i feel like Humphrey, to be honest.the script's better, the lines are smarter, and the voice acting's really good too. usually, whenever a sequel got a cast of unknown American voice actors, it usually sucks balls. not "Alpha and Omega 2". in "Alpha and Omega 2", these actors all know how to act and they sound almost exactly alike with the original cast. sequels don't usually pull that off, but "Alpha and Omega 2" did, and it pulled it off perfectly! big props to all the actors. Marcel and Paddy are back and they're not annoying anymore, they're actually where most of the movie's comedy came from. they do a lot more this time, they're funnier, they're friendlier, i didn't mind them being in the sequel, cause it made me happy to see em again. yea, okay some of the animation in the movie had problems and it need a bit more work, but "Alpha and Omega 2" got some of the best visuals i seen in a long time. everything's bright, detailed and beautiful. the only bummer is that it's way too short, it clocks at only 50 minutes. that kinda bummed me out a little bit cause i was expecting it to be at least the same length as the first movie. but no, it's only 50 minutes and it kinda makes wonder why that short.despite all that, "Alpha and Omega 2" was perfect in every other way. it was smart, it was cute, it was funny and exciting, i was cheering for everybody the whole time, every single character had more depth and layers... what's not to like here? if you still haven't seen it, go watch it. the best sequel of 2013! (along with "Star Trek: Into Darkness") a perfect 10/10!
Niko Zguri finally, it's out! after like 3 years of waiting with all these fake rumors floating everywhere, i finally get 2 see the sequel to my all time favorite movie "Alpha and Omega"! i almost lost hope bout it, right till August 1st this year, and oh my god i was SO happy. i mean, it's real! Alpha and Omega 2, the sequel to my all time favorite movie is real. i still can't believe it, and finally i watched it and it was so incredibly amazing. there was no part when i got bored while watching "Alpha and Omega 2", cause i enjoyed it so much.the animation's almost the same with the one used for the Alpha and Omega 1, but this time, it's more realistic cause the characters are detailed better and they're a lot deeper this time. so really, everybody in this movie, they're all likable. i really dug that in the movie and it worked perfectly. and the voice acting was great too. usually when a sequel ends up with a whole new voice cast, it's gonna disappoint to no-end. not "Alpha and Omega 2"! in "Alpha and Omega 2", the actors who play Kate, Humphrey, Lilly, Garth, Tony and Eve sound the exact with the original actors who played em in the first movie. and that's great voice acting right there! even the new actors who played the new characters in the movie did a great job. so big props to them. my only "gripe" bout the movie it's that it's just 45 minutes long, it's kinda short. that bummed me out a tiny bit, i was expecting it to be like 92 minutes long, but it's only 45 minutes and it actually makes me wonder why.but either way, "Alpha and Omega 2" was a fantastic direct-to-DVD sequel, with great voice acting, solid premise, great animation, strong character depth, fantastic score... i can't find anything bad in "Alpha and Omega 2", despite the short run time. and for all of you out there who think "Ehhh, Alpha and Omega 1 sucked, so this is gonna b even worse", check that stuff again cause you're wrong. You might say it's bad, but you're not gonna feel it. so go watch it and admit you liked it.Cause "Alpha and Omega 2: A Howl-iday Adventure" is definitely and absolutely... Awesometacular! The best direct-to-DVD sequel i seen in a really long time! i'm so happy i finally got to see it 10/10
