WasAnnon Slow pace in the most part of the movie.
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
jilld_2002 I can't believed this ended so soon. I was so disappointed. I loved the strong yet secret female lead. Her best friend became her true love. They fought evil together side by side and risked everything for love and goodness. I personally did not miss a single episode and wish there was a DVD release. It seems this was so unpopular that it is not well known.
fubared1 Frankly, I'm amazed it made it beyond one episode. I couldn't even make it through the first episode before I had to shut it off. Made by 5 year old children for other five year old children, I'm guessing. The acting is horrid beyond belief. What Bruce and Michael are doing here is beyond me. Obviously they couldn't get work elsewhere or they are total idiots for putting their names on this (but then they are 'actors' and actors are notoriously stupid). As to the 3 leading men, obviously they couldn't get work in the gay porn industry because they were all too ugly. And who in their right mind would believe Sheena Easton could even pretend to be a man! Please! If you enjoy BAD TV, then there is you're thing, I guess. They don't come much worse than this.
xxbabyloogaxx It's very refreshing to see an old story revamped with modern day language that actually works. Not that this story is of the olden day Musketeers, the story follows the lives of D'Artagnans' son who he named D'Artagnan. Of course there is still a sense of the proper way to speak and women were treated like women, but there are a few modernizations in what they talk about. A lot of screenplay writers have tried many-a-time to revive the stories of The Musketeers and in my honest opinion have failed miserably. This series will succeed it's pre-decessus as it it fresh, charming and has a light comedic tone to it. It's nice to see Michael Ironside in yet another grand role and the fresh faces of Zak Santiago, Tobias Mehler, Karen Cliché, Mark Hildreth and another adventurer who I used to love in the show "Bing em Back Alive" (1982-1983) is Bruce Boxleitner. This show is a must see for lovers of The Musketeers.
danae619 Watching this movie is sometimes like watching a train wreck. You want to look away, but you just can't seem to. I would rather see Karen Cliché still working on Mutant X, but I suppose you can't have everything. The "sexual tension" between D'Artagnan and Jacqueline seems really strained. At times, I wish Siroc would get his head out of his inventions and use that keen mind of his to realize that his friend Jacques is really a girl. Oy! I'm hoping for a second season to see if it gets better. I'm not sure I'm expecting it, but the final episode of Season 1 "Secrets" wasn't too bad.
