    PlatinumRead Just so...so bad
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
SweetSteve I really wanted to like this. Being a big DC fan and a fan of their animated movies I had high hopes for it. However Vixen is set in the WB/DC universe and sorry but all of those shows are terrible. As far as the movie goes, it is very unremarkable and very forgettable. The pacing of the film is odd too since originally it was released in 5 minute increments.. I would advise a hard pass on this one..
adonis98-743-186503 Vixen is based on the DC Character Mari McCabe / Vixen, a costumed superhero crime-fighter with the power to mimic the abilities of any animal that has ever lived on Earth. The series is set in the same fictional universe as Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. I didn't know what to expect from Vixen especially since the show has a run time of 5 minutes but with each episode i was more and more hooked on and i really like the character of Mari McCabe (Vixen) her powers and her character is handled in a much better way in her own Mini Series than both Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow we also get to meet her sister and learn more about her since in Season 2 she goes against the man who burned her Village. The action and the animation is handled really well something that both DC and WB are known to be good at and the fact that Black Canary, Arrow, The Flash, Cisco Ramon, Atom, Firestorm and even Felicity Smoak make a guest appearance voiced by the actual cast made the show for me even better. As for flaws? well i can't find anything bad about it and the 5 minutes really did not bugged me at all because both the action and the story is moving really fast and it's a very entertaining show that i hope that it gets a Season 3 maybe this year or the next i don't know although Geoff Johns just yesterday announced that there is a new DC TV Show coming up in the near future it could be a live action Vixen show or even Batman and Superman who knows only time will tell but i really recommend you to spend 1 hour of your time in this it's really worth it!!!
dragonlord2169 This show serves to introduce us to the character of Mari McCabe / Vixen, as well as set her up for her appearance in Arrow this season (Season 4, Episode 15 - Taken). The animation is amazing and the voice acting is top notch.Stephen Amell and Emily Rickards from Arrow reprise their roles as well as Grant Gustin and Carlos Valdes from Flash.A lot of the stuff that Vixen can do would be VERY hard to pull off on a TV budget, which is why introducing her this way is so important.I'll admit that the 5 minute segments can be a bit annoying at times, but it gives that "need" for the next chapter so all-in-all, the formula works.Season 4, Episode 15 - Taken of Arrow will continue where this left off so if you care to get the whole story and want to know how Ollie and Mari know each other, then this is a MUST watch.HIGHLY recommend !!!
theskyavatar Don't expect to get attached to this show. Vixen is a 5 minute per episode show, which is basically an episode of a regular show cut into 5 minute parts. By the time you do feel some emotional involvement to the story you get to see the subtitles.Furthermore, quality of the artwork of the show isn't all that remarkable - its just about what you'd expect from DC and Warner Bross. The only good thing to report on the artwork is Vixens new appearance. She actually looks like a regular person, as opposed to her bitchy glamor look from before. As for the Story, the show is building up slowly, taking their time to tell a tale. this could be a good thing if an episode would last 20 to 30 min, but tanks miserably with a 5 minute show. You get what is happening in the story, but without the emotional dept you would feel from a longer episode. My advice - wait until every episode has aired and watch them all in a row, and maybe, just maybe, you'll manage to get some joy out of this show.
