Very well executed

It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

Absolutely brilliant underrated series that unfortunately PBS this season clipped quite sloppily "offensive" language, greatly mpacting explosive final season. I fail to find any fault with any aspect of production.

Have just watched the finale as they say it will not return. Have enjoyed the ride for the most part, the interaction with the two investigators and their colleagues either side of the Channel has been intriguing at times.
However, I felt that the plot in series 3 was not up to the standard set before. In fact it was unbelievable at times and as the credits rolled that last time I was heard to exclaim "so that's it?!" Not going to say why because it gives too much away suffice to say the actions of the villains were IMHO too complicated for them to carry off while all the cops were on to them. It felt like Dr Who's scriptwriters had sneaked in at times...

Would have 10 stars, excellent which the story line is but that is completely ruined by the most appalling sound quality I have ever heard. The 'realistic' background noise makes it impossible to hear the dialogue. Additionally in a millisecond the volume goes from quietish to absolutely deafening. Almost worn the batteries out on the remote through changing volume very few seconds.

The show started very strongly, the characters were developing well, but towards the end around the episode 7 mark it drifted to weakness and story creep. It appeared as if the writers got a sudden bout of writers fatigue and rushed to finish the plot. The scrambled voices were no more, the scenes towards the end tended to be idiotic and a waste of good talent. Which leads me to shining redeeming qualities and that's Pousy, Dillane and to some extent Mawre. I feel they could have developed his arc much better. A guy who supposedly was so secretive and used such byzantine methods turned out to be just another run of the mill psycho with just 1 dimension. What a waste of what could have been.On another note I could see Stannis and Uncle Benjen shining.
