TrueHello
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

More than just a little bit too tame for my taste, but then again, I watch PARTY OF FIVE, and that's as tame as you can get. But I didn't watch THE FAMILY MAN. I glanced at it when it sounded interesting. I liked Ashleigh Blair Sterling, she was a delightful little creature. And when Nancy Everhard appeared, I became more involved. As RavenGlamDVDCollector I have been trying to bring together all these pretty actresses on DVD, and the cute little girl wasn't forgotten, but with a bland name like THE FAMILY GUY I kept barking up the wrong tree on the Internet due to that movie. This Saturday morning though, Googled 'THE FAMILY GUY TV series' and with my only real solid clue that the guy was a fireman, when I saw that title card on Wikipedia with the fire chief's car, bingo! Of course I had forgotten all the details, including actors' names, but I'm just going 'Ashleigh Blair Sterling, Ashley Blair Sterling' now, and it's coming back to me now.I just remember her coquettish way, tossing her little head back, upon learning that blonds are desirable, and saying "I'm a blonde..." And Jill referring to Jack being a man with children while she just had closets full of shoes. Well, the show was good enough to lure me to a distant screen in next-door room while I was busy writing an erotic novel during 1991, so OK, this little Walt Disney thingie (I know, I know, it's not Walt Disney, but you'll catch my drift) must have been good. And it seems few people are talking about it. I really am a poor excuse for a fan of this show, yet I've mentioned that I was gloriously otherwise occupied :) -8 if you can decipher that last bit AND STILL SAW ENOUGH OF IT TO BE YAMMERING ON TWENTY-THREE YEARS LATER, and you really cannot get a more glowing report than that.
