Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Cristal The movie really just wants to entertain people.
fedor8 First off, I have to say how shocked I am, after having checked AM's bio. This guy is around 30?? I could have sworn he was just an obnoxious, fat 14 year-old kid! He really does have the look/body of an unemployed, 40 year-old Maltese truck driver - with the face of a child clumsily attached to the neck (by Mengele?). How the hell did this no-talent get his own show? He must have a Boston-based American-Greek father or uncle who is a ship tycoon or something. Hence the question is begged: why hasn't Paris Hilton already snatched him for herself by now...? Hm.Or perhaps it's merely a case of Jay Leno having had drunken one-off sex with Roseanne 30 years ago...? TAMS is one of the unfunniest sketch shows - strike that - one of the unfunniest of ANYTHING I have ever seen. Before finding out that this guy is an adult, I was ready to give him small bonus points for not being so bad for a mere 14 year-old. Still, in spite of his real age, I think there could have been use yet for AM's ultra-limited talents: he would have been ideal as Tony Soprano's long-lost bastard son. And I am firmly convinced that he could have played a young teenager there. Is there an iota of "adultness" or intelligence in that face?TAMS contains the worst candid camera stuff I've ever seen - and I've seen tons of that crap, including American, Brtitish, Serbian, German, Italian, Austrian, and Canadian hidden camera. Even the worst of these were head-and-shoulders above the best that this dumb series has to offer. The gags are mostly wordplay-based, hence cheap and obvious. Even though occasionally a good or original idea lurks its unexpected head out of all the zero-value garbage, its execution always ends up being very poor. Writing something funny is one thing, but putting it on the screen without losing its initial appeal is an ENTIRELY different matter altogether... A lot of this failure has to do with the totally non-existent comic-timing and the amateurish acting by AM and the other losers he'd gathered together for this latest MTV mess. The fact that the material looks as if it's been shot by your grandmother's barely-used mobile phone doesn't help matters either. I love silly stuff and toilet humour as much as the next guy, but my intelligence doesn't allow me (unfortunately) to laugh at dilettantes who have no clue what the hell they're doing. Goofing around self-indulgently is something any idiot can do.I could write better material than this with a toilet seat up my nose. I remember seeing Tom Green for the first time. Back then I had thought they couldn't come up with a worse "comedian" if they tried. How wrong I was... After all, this is MTV we're talking about: the music also always seems as if it cannot get any worse, and yet it does, year after year...
The_Amazing_Spy_Rises Hmmm....at least you can watch people win money on Fear Factor. The Andy Milonakis show is not only a waste of time, but there is a small chuckle about once every 8 or 9 episodes. Bad ratio. The show follows Andy Milonakis, a 30 year old man who has the same disease as Gary Coleman (I can't remember the name), so he looks like a 14 or 15 year old boy, as he does the most random things around New York City. These random things include guidance from two small kittens (aptly named the Jesus and Satan Kitties), Andy passing out smiley faced balloons to random people and professing his hatred for himself, having a safari in his apartment, and whistling for rapper Juelz Santana whenever he's in trouble. The show does have some celebrity guest appearances, including Snoop Dogg, Juelz Santana, Mike Jones, and Paul Wall. This does keep it from getting a '1'. This 'show' is so bad and atrociously pointless that you can't watch without going 'why?' or 'what the hell?'. The skits are so blatantly stupid that MTV is hoping for you to laugh at how stupid it is. Andy Milonakis is a little funny by himself, so I recommend that if you want to see him be funny, ditch this sad excuse for a TV show and watch the 2005 movie 'Waiting...', where Andy is hysterical. THIS SHOW IS TERRIBLE.2/10 --spy
SNLstar17 Andy Milonakis is reminiscent of Pee-wee Herman and his antics on shows like "The Pee-wee Herman Show" and "Pee-wee's Playhouse." Pee-wee used to put tape on his face or shove pencils into a potato and make potato animals. Like Pee-wee, Andy does things out of the norm such as put pancakes on his face and pretend that a staple remover is a vampire. Pee-wee also wore his signature gray suit and red bow-tie. Andy always wears a red plaid shirt and jeans. Pee-wee was a man-child. Andy is a child-man, or whatever age he is. Like Pee-wee, Andy has crazy, oddball friends who come over to hang out.Andy Milonakis is a little more crude with his humor and sometimes a little pointless, but when watching this show you should just stop thinking and laugh. It is a very funny oddball show that is not dumb humor. Milonakis, or whoever writes the show, is observant and can take a situation, object, or person and make it eccentric and weird. What turns most people off to the show is its low budget quality. But a lot of kids who watch this show have probably set up a camera and done odd, pointless skits similar to Andy Milonakis and find this show humorous.
iloveandymilnks-1 Wow. I don't even know where to start! I absolutely *love* this show. Andy has to be the most greatest thing on mtv2. At least that's what I think. I can watch this show over, and over and never get sick of it. If anything, it makes me laugh harder by watching it more. I'm sitting here right now and it happens to be on, I'm laughing so loud that I'm most likely waking up the whole house. I just watched the part when he uses his etch a sketch to draw aspirin and then busts it open, pours it into his mouth, jumps up and down. And disappears. I think that is the greatest thing ever. A lot of people despise this show, but I guess you just need to have that wacky, weird sense of humor ( like I do) because other wise this show isn't your thing. As for me my eyes are watering because I'm laughing so much. Andy is hilarious! It would be the best day of my life if I met him! =)
