    TeenzTen An action-packed slog
Shopaholic35 I must admit that I am a Disney addict and completely love the early work and happily enjoy the live-action new Disney. Shake It Up is a great show for when you want to relax and turn off your brain for 30mins. It's not groundbreaking TV but it does have some great dance & music numbers and an adorable cast (Bella Thorne & Zendaya are fast becoming young style queens). It can be luck of the draw as some episodes are pretty good, others not so much but I find it is a lot better than some of the other tween shows out there. So if you enjoy reverting back to your childhood every now and then or alternatively are a child then give it a shot. It's really not as bad as you might think.
rickeyseeley K i was sitting at home by myself and i was watching Disney channel and i can say shake it up is the stupidest show i ever seen that all I got to say about that........ I've always enjoyed the beauty of solitude. The state of being alone with ones thoughts as we retreat from the distractions of the everyday world. It forces us to listen to the things that we normally wouldn't listen to. Solitude appoints oneself to step back and see the world from outside the box we're so used to living in. Solitude is defined as seclusion, as a remoteness from habitation. We need to believe that solitude can be seen as an expression of freedom and not as a punishment of isolation. But why would one want to be alone? Why would we want to take ourselves away, even for just one fleeting moment?Because it allows us to focus on the one thing that matters most.Making ourselves better.
Kieran Has Power This is a genuinely a TERRIBLE Disney show, I'm sorry. I used to be an avid Disney watcher, and began fading out as this show came in - just as well really! In summary the main problems are: 1) Terrible acting - over playing and ridiculous expressions 2) Tired, unimaginative plots - haven't we seen the "fame finding" plot before? Many of the other 'problems' have also been dealt with in the same way previously! 3) Lack of dancing... This one should've been obvious - INCLUDE DANCING! The girls do little more than shake their arms and hips! The "guest" dancers regularly featured on the show are good examples of what I expected when I heard that Disney was making a dance show. In summary: I pray that Disney take down this show and return to the classics of Suite Life and Wizards of Waverly Place - brilliant shows with great acting!
kennedymadrid -SPOILERS- "Shake It Up" is basically about to teenage girls who are on a dance show called "Shake It Up Chicago". The show follows their "normal" lives and supposedly "teaches kids moral lessons". This show is just down right bad. I watched one episode of this show, and it was TERRIBLE! The dance moves are lame, you can't really understand the music, and the acting just stinks. Bella and Zendaya, the two female main characters in this show, are just ruining their acting career with this show. Zendaya's character, Rocky Blu, is just a little know-it-all. Bella's character, Cece Jones, is just very clueless. The other actors/actresses are just very dorky and just plain out terrible. So when you hear the theme music to this song, run for your life, turn off the TV, and read a book or do something. Trust me, this show is just another Disney fail.
