Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Freeman This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
adonis98-743-186503 Thirteen years after the original Robocop, Delta City, considered to be "The Safest Place On Earth!", has become a futuristic city owned and operated by OCP, and RoboCop, Alex Murphy has begun to feel his age. Murphy finds himself nearly obsolete, and must deal with the fact that his now-grown son James is an OCP executive, unaware that his father is still alive. Also, Murphy's former partner, John Cable, has returned to Delta City as its new Security Commander. But slowly, new enemies arise, and Murphy and Cable begin an investigation into a mysterious villain known as the Bone Machine, unaware that they are coming dangerously close to exposing an evil group of OCP executives known as The Trust... which James Murphy is a part of. Desperate to prevent their sinister plans from being revealed, The Trust programs Murphy to kill John Cable. Robocop Prime Directives brings the series back to a dark territory since Robocop 2 and it's way better than that movie it's bloody as hell, it has some cool archive footage from previous shows and movies but also an enemy better than Robocain his name is Robocable and i absolutely loved that guy when he went against Robocop this series doesn't deserve the crap it gets it's not perfect but at least it's not Robocop 2. And i do agree that Fletcher was short but did a nice job at the end and sure the acting isn't perfect but for a TV Mini Series this is a pretty good series as good as the animated series and the 1994 series is it better than the Original? No but it's way better than the sequels!!!
Tina_V I watched RoboCop 1 and 2 and they may have been violent, but they were good. Having liked these movies I thought that me and my daughter were in for a treat. I was disappointed. There is a confusing plot and it is hard to recognise which RoboCop which. The film is boring throughout as the villain changes from one person to another, and never settles. There are also many loose ends which are never tied up, I am only giving this 2 stars because there are other movies, and everything might be resolved, but I am not watching and wasting more time of my life. Do not waste your time on this movie, if you do, I can guarantee that you will regret ever watching this movie.
JoeB131 Blame Canada! Essentially, this is 8 hours of recycling. There's really nothing new here we didn't see in the previous three movies. OCP is evil, Robo is somehow decent, or maybe he's just a robot.Did we really need more of this? Oh, yeah, and then we have all the fun "pun" names. Like Ann R. Key and Lexx Icon. Why not include characters named "Jim Shoo" while you are at it? It seems the bit of dialog and plot are only interludes to hang the shootout scenes on. Lots and lots of shootout scenes, I lost track after a certain point of who was being shot for what, exactly. The plot is that an aging RoboCop is considered a has-been in OCP's new Delta city, lots of corporate maneuvering by evil executives that could never actually exist outside a parody. There were a few actors who didn't phone it in...
schzistvan I think, unlike some people that this TV series is good in its category: low budget TV film with more or less unknown actors and actresses, who are not absolutely bad here. for example page fletcher is surprisingly good especially in those few scenes, where Murphy's previous life is shown, before being killed. the action sequences are correct, I like in them the simplicity: no overemphasized visuality, just shooting, chasing etc. The only problem with the story, that I could have missed the saint-mad scientist elements. Having the other conflicts ( two robocops against each other, the family drama between alex and jimmy murphy, a wanted robocop, etc) would have been enough. and the very very few visual effects were unnecessary: they made people notice the cheapness of the film. that's all what I think...
