    Konterr Brilliant and touching
    Manthast Absolutely amazing
Hulkeasexo it is the rare 'crazy' movie that actually has something to say.
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Vitalii To what extend could be moral an automatic system that completely controls the society and moreover can measure a level of susceptibility to crime of the whole population? Does such kind of system act in population's best interest or are people just slaves of the system? What are people worth when they aren't used to analyze and rely blindly on the system? If there was an ideal system that judges people, would it be also allowed to judge that system?Tsunemori Akane, an officer of the Criminal Investigation Department, searches answers for these questions in the near future. From a young specialist that takes on trust every decision of the system, she turns in a professional with an ability to analyze critical situations and make extraordinary decisions. She walks a fine line between trust in the system and necessity of changes, between own belief and fulfilling official duties…Great anime with colorful characters and story. It is a pleasure to watch how characters evolve and change their world-view. Worth watching!
aprilmike-51991 As with a lot of these reviews there is an awful smell about them! That said after working out what the person was going on about and the self imposed "cool" abbreviations(GITS SOC) I agree that PP(sic) is one of the best I have seen for a while. Intelligent writing, terrific character development, a plot line that leaves you the viewer to work out what's happening, just the right amount of suspense and excellent graphics. Not so sure about the robotic/hologram assistant with the pubescent high pitched voice but that comes with the territory I guess .Give it ago and see for your self.
John Jan Psychopass is most definitely a top quality anime. Futuristic, Guns, Violence, Psyche.Avoid if very faint of heart or young children as the anime definitely has some dark undertones. There is violence and gore in many scenes, think a slightly more twisted and gruesome death note. The plot and art is top notch, beautiful and scary all at the same time. This anime will make you think and question our society and could mess with your mind. This anime is highly recommended! Sit back and enjoy!
kokojones The story this anime takes on is a very common one, future utopian or dystopian society, morally ambiguous cops. These concepts have been done to death, yet Gen Urobuchi does a good job of making the story feel fresh. Rather then following the usual "big brother" government that is straight up evil, the message is balanced that shows a need for "the system," yet also points out the flaws. The characters are hit or miss. For the most part the characters are good, and feel real...then there are characters that feel too much like a trope or flat out boring, and to the the show's credit, those characters for the most part are not over played...for the most part. My favorite aspect of the characters though is that the characters grow. You definitely can tell that the characters are different in the end. The execution of everything was great in the beginning. Exposition is kept to the essentials treating you, the viewer, as an intelligent being capable of figuring things out on your own. That being said, towards the end, the show falls victim of wrap everything up with exposition, and it slows the third act down horribly. All in all, Psycho-Pass is a good show, it has enjoyable characters, and an engaging story up until the end, which was a real shame cause I did really enjoy watching it.
