vmtukwa I started watching this sometime last year and at first I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but it only took a few more episodes to be totally hooked and. The plot feels like a bit of an olden day English novel. Two families collide the Camikrans and the Egemens; one is very poor and the other extremely rich. Mrs Fazilet is the catalyst for it all ,an extremely ambitious woman whose goal is to rise in society by any means ;like a darker ,cunning version of Mrs Bennet but she is also very entertaining . That's not the only thing that will remind you of Pride and Prejudice . The usual tropes are explored but not in such an obvious way ;a love triangle turns out to just be a lesson in distinguishing infatuation from true love and the writer is brave enough to show that growth and take us through it and amazingly enough she trusts the audience to grow too and the slow burn is amazing .

But this particular one tied me upstart from the first episode and eagerly waiting for the next one! Those actors and actresses are superb! very spontaneous actions and facial expressions. I even watch few scenes, again and again, I cry and laugh together with them! The plots are very intrigued, suspense and made me want to know more. I would suggest this drama to all.

asmanayeem I am an avid watcher of Turkish series but lately the best series is fazilet hanim ve kizlari and i was not able to find English subtitles for this show please help the character played by fazilet is a strong character it holds this series together how ever lost she is she again regains confidence and hazan'character is strong.

Mouna The series is interesting so far. Nice actors and good acting. it's different than the majority of the stories we encounter in the Turkish drama. it's more of a show of social ambitions by a mid class woman than a collection of hidden secrets we used to see. I watched 4 episodes s far so I might come back and update this review. update : the first season finale aired in June. I just love this series and I recommend it to every one, a good mix of drama, suspense, love, fun and crazy moments. First season was 13 episodes long. Second season will start in September 2017. I gave it 9 stars
