    LouHomey From my favorite movies..
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
mayshamp I wish I had seen this show back when I was young! Even now, with a happy marriage and loving husband, I learn so much from Patti Stanger. This show should be required curriculum for all high school students instead of the useless info they pump into kids like history or geography or even algebra, and I'm a mathematician. Seriously, when was the last time you needed to know how to complete a square or prove that two triangles are congruent? But Patti shows you how to find the right mate, not only to pick the right person, but also to prepare yourself into the right person for somebody else. It's honest, and sometimes it's painful, but it actually works, unlike most of the feel good but worthless advice I heard so much when I was growing up. I am a big fan of her previous Millionaire Matchmaker show, but this one is even better and more mature. In the past, Patti simply shows the first dates, which mostly tank in a disastrous way because the millionaires make so many mistakes. This time, Patti puts in more time in preparation to fix them up a bit first so that they get out of the dysfunctional ways they have been doing things (which was why they failed at dating to start with), so the millionaires are doing much better. Patti also does more of the selecting herself: instead of the millionaires pick out of 10 to 15 girls/guys, she narrows them down to 2 and the millionaire gets to pick 1 out of 2, making it much easier. There were too many choices before and it was really confusing which one to pick from. What I enjoy the most about the show is the insight Patti has in people. It really helps me understand people better in general. And what is really impressive is Patti's patience and faith. No matter how worthless the millionaires appear to be, Patti give them chances rather than give up on them. There are times when I felt that if I were Patti, I would shoot those worthless clients and move to Montana, they are so horrible! But I am wrong, she actually manages to work with them and teach them decency, good sense, and how to be a good spouse to someone, while be smart at picking what is the best for them. Patti's service is very expensive, but it makes sense because she puts in an amazing amount of work prepping her clients while finding and selecting the matches. It really makes sense to date this way, rather than a person bumping blindly along at work and at parties, hoping to run into Mr. Perfect by sheer luck. It just makes sense to have the expert do all the leg work for one of the most important decisions of your life. Most people cannot afford Patti's fee, but it makes sense to use a cheaper dating service, while at the same time, watch Patti's shows again and again until all her wisdom is pounded into one's brain. The good news is, nowadays there is something called Amazon Video where you can buy any old show and cram in all that amazing knowledge for almost nothing.
ccorral419 Okay so I watch this, big deal! Like many a reality TV show, it's hard to stay away from a train wreck, as the passengers and their conductor (Patti Stranger) derail weekly. After leaving the BRAVO show over a huff with Host Andy Cohen, MM has landed on Wetv, with a snappy new San Diego exclusive location/hotel. It's truly amazing how many rich and/or famous folks need to spend hundreds (probably thousands) of dollars to have someone tell them they are looking for love in all the wrong places - can we say publicity hounds! The majority of the women, lead with their fake breasts and over surgery faces/bodies. The majority of the men lead with their little friend below, or find pleasure in letting the women run over them, with both still blaming their parents for their shortcomings. Here, Patti knows best, and since it's her show, she screams, degrades and probes the guests and their potential dates with questions and statements that would otherwise get any employer slapped with a sexual harassment suit. While watching the show, I can't help see Martin Shorts' "Jiminy Glick" character in most mannerism that Patti displays weekly. MM is great summer TV guilty pleasure.
