Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
kataniolsen I very love the movie, after seen the trailer on Star World channel, and i started watching it, turn out loving it, more than any movie that i ever watched, because it remind of me, i been through like Kev, and now i'm still working with my "hopefully" future girlfriend, and waiting for her crazy stupid boyfriend of her to break up, even though its been like 4 years, watching this movie make me feel better that someone been through all of this like me, and i'm waiting for Season 2, i don't even waiting for Avenger 3 or even Batman vs Superman, need this series keep going, because i only watch this movie when i'm done working everyday, its make me feel better, and funny is for the first time i ever find a movie that remind me of myself, waiting for Season 2, please make it fast, thank you.
ImAlwaysRight I watched the entire season, because if I decide to give a show a chance, I will see it through. It took me two months to finally feel bored enough to finish the season out. It was only 10 episodes yet seemed to drag on. The entire season there was no character development, no plot development, nothing of note occurred. Essentially **semi-but-not-really-spoiler** if you watched the pilot, you've basically seen the whole first season. The characters are annoying and predictable, the dialog is superficial, the plot doesn't progress, the jokes are recycled. It's a comedy, but somehow every episode is depressing. Why watch a comedy with no good joke writing, that depresses and lets you down at every turn, pushes annoying characters that do not grow, learn or change and pretty much leaves you feeling like you wasted your time?
youth-66519 Sometimes I think we take ourselves too seriously, especially where comedy is concerned. If I hadn't decided a long time ago to ignore critics and judge movies and TV shows for myself, I would have missed out on a lot of great movie/television experiences. So it's not the best comedy show out there, but honestly, true comedy in television rarely exists. Nowadays, if it isn't overtly sexual or just downright vulgar, it isn't funny. A good show doesn't always have to have flesh, sex, lies and cheating to be a good show. So over those right now. This show is the closest thing to "clean" comedy I have seen in a long time, and I sincerely hope it is renewed for another season.
Charles Herold (cherold) I just watched the first episode, and since I won't be watching any more I'll just review that. The main problem was that it wasn't very funny, which is always a big problem in comedies. It was all jokes I've seen before done better, with an episode on cringe comedy. I don't think I laughed out loud once. The leads are reasonably likable, but the series is a little too fond of stereotypes, and though created by a woman indulges in slut-shaming (probably less because it objects to sexual women and more because the show is fond of easy jokes and stereotypes (and no I don't give it a pass for a weak attempt to mock TV stereotypes). One positive thing I will mention is the movie has a couple of really clever transitions between scenes that were clearly filmed live. It's the sort of thing you'd expect from some cool indie film. There a little out of place in such a dumb episode, but I give the director credit for putting them in.
