Excellent, a Must See
Maidexpl
Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Doomtomylo
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Cooktopi
The acting in this movie is really good.

Some of the show's popularity can be traced to the family-values theme of the program (even though they argue a lot), which usually ends with the clan all together for a quick prayer of thanks at dinner time. People like and appreciate that, because they don't see this on any other TV show. Those who don't will bash and hate the program. Too bad people can't set their political/religious agendas aside and watch the program for its unique humor, and then decide if they like it or not.For those who still haven't checked out this show - and there are more out there than you think - you have to give this about three episodes before you judge it. At first, it will appear stupid, on second look it's okay-but-nothing-great and by the third, you're hooked. At least that's how I and a number of friends found it to be.Having watched four full seasons, all on DVD (the best way to watch TV shows), I would suggest starting right from the first season, which is the best one anyway. I think the shows slowly went downhill, and by the end of the fourth season it looked like the writers were running out of ideas.Nonetheless, it is generally a fun show to watch and I can see why it has been so popular. It's different, a reality/comedy show uniquely filmed about a bunch of scraggly-looking rednecks from Monroe, Louisiana, who own and operate a duck calling business. They are the Robertsons. The film is narrated by the oldest brother, Willie, who is CEO, and is constantly aggravated by his lazy crew. The most popular person on the show seems to be "Uncle Si." I agree; he's easily the funniest guy on the program. Whatever, all the people on the show, including the wives and parents, contribute in one way or another.

This reality series focusing on Louisiana multi-millionaires in Z.Z. Top drag is one of the worst US air-wave polluters. "The Beverly Hillbillies" was much more fun. Surpassing Willie Robertson as leader is patriarchal papa Phil. Calling himself a Bible-believing and gun-carrying Capitalist, Mr. Robertson has also become a Conservative folk hero. Bolstering his on-screen pontificating with off-screen pearls of wisdom, he has used both arenas to assert rights he finds in the US Constitution and Christian Bible. "The pursuit of happiness" does not include same-sex coupling, which Robertson finds repulsive. Diseases like AIDS are God's punishment for sinful sexual behavior, he declares...Clearly, Robertson should stay heterosexual and stick with "Miss" Kay...Robertson says they gave up wearing suits, but it sure looks like suits on home video covers and publicity photos. Maybe they're Robertson twins. The men in the family prefer beards and macho garb while the women wear more conventional clothing. They like to hunt and kill animals, like ducks. They are not vegetarians. Robertson recently began opening his act by stating politicians never say the three words, "I love you." He asks audiences to try to recall the last time they heard any politician say, "I love you." Robertson obviously never watches his President, Barack Obama, who frequently tells the crowds who shout their admiration for him, "I love you!" and "I love you back!"...Jesus loves you, Mr. Robertson, in spite of this bad reality TV show.* Duck Dynasty (3/21/12-2/11/15) Hugh Peterson ~ Willie Robertson, Phil Robertson, Jase Robertson, Si Robertson

I love this show. My family and I watch it all the time. We are big duck hunters and I love reality TV shows. Perfect combination. Along with being big Christians. If I could, I would give it 10 million stars. I love the humor, practical jokes, competitions, how they love to have fun, the duck hunting, frog hunting, the harmless teasing, and how close the family is. I also love how the family is so involved in the making of the show. Out of all of the shows out there, this one is is the cleanest, funniest, and most relatable one there is. It is about a typical American family who just so happen to have a lot of money and how they don't let that get to their heads. They say their faith is what keeps them grounded. I love how respectful the kids and grandkids are to their parent and grandparents. When the adults tell them to do something, they do it without complaining. This might be found just in the South, but the kids in America should all do this. No matter where they are. This is the best show ever.

Phil Robertson and the other yokels of Duck Dynasty care about one thing (as other reality stars) YOUR MONEY! I refuse to watch these idiots spit their nonsense out. And "Reality TV" continues to be the biggest oxymoron the world has ever seen. I'd watch if a black gay couple moved next door LOL. That would be must-see TV.As for the recent controversy, all you need to do is watch a trailer of this to know what you are in for. As a gay man, I cannot support something that goes against everything I am. Ignorance is a virus and tolerating intolerance defeats the purpose of tolerance. In short, don't waste your time on this fake garbage or these people! They are making millions of dollars to dumb down the viewing public.
