goleafs84 When I first saw this show, I didn't think to much of it, as it doesn't take too much skill or thought to win, all you need is one thing; Luck.Question is, why do I like this show? It's exciting and entertaining to watch. The best part is when it gets down to "crunch time"; You can see the large amounts of money on the board. You see the contestant having to chose the case and hope it doesn't contain one of the large amounts of money. Next, you've got those models opening the cases; Very beautiful; And the "bank" makes their offer to buy you off for as little as they can. In the end, you'll see if that person got a good or bad deal in the end.This is where it gets exciting., as you can hear me screaming in front of the TV, "NO DEAL!!" or "Take The offer and get out!!!" (At times, that's the nice way I say it). Many times when I watch it people with me are telling me to calm down or relax it's only a game show).It's a show that's very easy to get wrapped up in it.The other thing I like about it is the humor. Howie Mandel as he talks to the "bank" tells you what the bank says, which is usually trash talk,or at times, they have even done mini performances like in the Chruistmas show where they bring out a carolers, "trash singing" to the tune of "Jingle Bells" and make the offer. Rude, but funny.In addition, when they go to a commercial break, Howie will lead you on that it will continue now and once he gets you "hooked" then he says something like "we'll find out when we come back". You want to scream for bring suckered into it, but at the same time you want to laugh because it's funny. Howie is very good at that.Deffinatley a show worth watching.

I_Am_The_Taylrus SPOILERS I was not too excited about seeing Deal Or No Deal at first. It seemed like a lame game-show and it looked like it had been done a million times. Well, I was dead wrong. This was a really fun game-show to watch. Plus, it had the voice of Gizmo the Mogwai in it.Here is the concept. A contestant comes in. They choose a case. Then they open cases. The less money in a case, the more money they win. The more money in a case, the less money you win. At the end of a round you are asked if you want to keep the money or not. If you do, you see if you made a good deal. If you do not, you keep going until you stop or the game is over.Overall, this is a very fun, cool game-show to watch. Although it is no Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, Family Feud, the Price Is Right, Jeoparody, or Match Game, it is still a good choice of game-show to watch. It is also kind of sad to see a really fun contestant not win a lot of money. Once there was a really warm-hearted guy that only won about ten dollars. Also, like I said before, the host of Deal Or No Deal, which is Howie Mandel, voices Gizmo is the movie Gremlins, which was kind of interesting if you ask me.8/10 Recommended TV Game-Shows: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

benbrae76 I just cannot warm to this boring and stupid tarting up of "Take your Pick". The only saving grace is that the old ludicrous "Yes, No Interlude" was omitted. (I am talking about the UK version of the game, not the American, which seems be an altogether more extravagant and flamboyant affair, if the other comments on it are anything to go by.) We have the Lottery, TV Poker, and other shows of their ilk coming out of our nostrils, and it seems to be the modern TV trend to turn the whole country into raving gambling addicts, and this "game show" is no exception to the madness.There is virtually no viewer participation involved, not even the semblance of any knowledge, intelligence or brain work required (even to the extent of adding up two and two, which seems to be the limit as far as these types of shows go). I do realise that not all programmes have to be soul-searching and brain-wearying, but surely this show has been scraped from the bottom of the barrel. That people actually watch it, and seemingly enjoy it, is probably a great surprise to the producers. However, please forgive me for having better things to do... like sleeping.

weatherboi2 I noticed, at least in my area, that Deal or No Deal was not listed to be on the air. Has this show been taken off for the season? Last Friday, May 12, was the last episode I saw and it usually has been on the air 3 nights a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Sure hope to see it back soon......great show. Has anyone else noticed that too from where they are at? SO I missed the episode where it ended with the woman being offered I thought was $131,000. I sure would had a done DEAL on that offer, crazy not to. And Howie, quite the crazy Canadian eh? We are proud of him as he has done well, at least of late with his "cleaned up" profile, something that the family can enjoy.
