Allie Henshall (Sarah Parish) and dependable husband Gavin Ferraday (Jason Merrells) run Henshall Ferraday, a successful family hairdressing business. They plan to expand to a second site across the road. But their dreams are shattered when Mia (Amanda Holden) and her husband Finn (Ben Daniels) arrive on the scene. Mia and Finn buy the property and open rival salon, Blade Runner. To further complicate matters, the charismatic Finn was once the love of Allie's life. And it soon becomes apparent that it's no coincidence his wife's salon has opened so nearby.
