Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
George J. Kirby I was invested and emotionally resonant while watching this beautifully crafted adaptation of the acclaimed manga Cory in the House. This anime emotionally resonated to me on so many levels through its strong characters, beautiful visuals, deep lore and its compelling narrative. This anime establisrd new standards that even the great Hayao Miyazaki will wish he could reach.Cory in the House effectively portrays why anime matters to a whole community of people, outshining the standards set by Cowboy Bebop, Dragonball Z and Naruto. This anime will be a life changing experience for those who want the new profound sense of hope in their lives.
nonklesr To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cory In The House. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical houses most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Cory's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from meme literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Cory In The House truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Cory's existential catchphrase "It's a party every week baby," which itself is a cryptic reference to Pewdiepie saying 'nigger'. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Disney's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Cory In The House tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only - And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
CoryInDaHouse I just have to say, this is the best anime of ALL time. Seriously, it made me want to refund the show by myself to get it running again. It's sad the animators went bankrupt. The characters are great, the story, amazing, and the animation is very life-like. I just have to say, this is the best anime in the world.
MightyMorphinMilk Cory in the house is the greatest anime ever created. Attack on titan and Akira is trash compared to this brilliant masterpiece. This anime left me in tears from the beginning to the end. Kyle Massey delivers a performance that deserves---No, demands a golden globe nomination! (Note: This is all ironic, this show was absolute trash)
