    LouHomey From my favorite movies..
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Patience Watson One of those movie experiences that is so good it makes you realize you've been grading everything else on a curve.
iain-13420 Like a lot of TV drama made in UK, USA and Canada this series becomes increasingly ridiculous as it reaches the climax. In the Black fly season cardinal breaks three cardinal rulesNever lose your phone Never lose your gun Never leave the killer unattended Disappointed
stephenburgess-21114 Gripping from start to Finnish, with some great "shocking" moments. The setting and actors make for a great watch
nibirusteaks It has production elements of 'Fortitude' and 'Wallander', with the sweepy aerial landscape shots of dreary snowy Canada, but the pacing is perfect, the sub-plots add to the characters, sometimes leaving a little mystery to the lead character's past, without becoming tedious long diversions...the acting is dignified and consistent throughout the several episodes, and though I found the criminal element they are pursuing to be a bit noxious, said element was believably written and acted. Some beautiful set piece shots in the first episode, the lead detective sitting in the morgue or standing dressed darkly facing away from some white-clad priests in a Catholic church... Really a home run for the two lead actors, really impressive effort in writing, cinematograohy, direction and editing....loved it.
Zebra7 After having read all the amazing reviews, I was quite disappointed with this show as it's FULL of clichés. Characters and plot we have seen so many times before that it all felt tired and too predictable. I just knew what was going to happen with the main story, sub story, character development that there was zero tension, so much so that I didn't get to invest in the story or empathise with any of the characters. As someone who watches many crime dramas from all over the world, this was nothing special. I would only recommend it to people who have nothing else to watch. It's good for killing time I guess.
